I can’t effectively count my ammo anymore, I now have to weigh it.

Why do gun owners continue to want disclose inventories on social media? People should realize the functional algorithms and where this information is sent. Multiple states are already sending ammo sales direct to the State and Federal Governments from FFLs. This just allows easier disclosure. Tracking calibers means your information is PUBLIC.

This!! Never tell anyone outside your family, and maybe not even them, about your guns or ammunition.

When food is scarce, the gubment will trade food for info. Guess who's going to be on the top of their list? LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS. Know how to keep a secret? Don't tell no one.

I would never post a video like this. But let’s be real for a moment. They can check your bank statements, track your card usage even UPS and FedEx tracking records. So what and the hell is a video going to tell them they don’t already know or can easily find out?

It’s not that big of deal tbh the gov alr knows all the guns you own as far as ammo unless your paying all cash they know bout it too as far as the average person goes the chances they have the skills to get your address and actually try and break in or something is really low and if the gov try’s to come and take it from you atp you better use it cuz shi done hit the fan 😊

I have a log book as well for my ammo stock, and I keep a running tab of exactly what I have on hand. Everytime I go to the range or buy ammo, I update the list..

The problem with keeping records of how much ammo I have is the fact that my family likes to shoot. When .22lr got scarce the 2 or 3 thousand rounds I had went away surprisingly quickly. Now the steel cased wolf ammo has become expensive to the point I just haven't bought any in the last several years; therefore, my supply has just about been expended to the point that I have gotten rid of guns simply because of increased ammo prices and decreased ammo availability.

@@MrBwilly95 You can make your own packs with 000 steel wool, in an open plastic baggie. The wool will corrode quicker than the ammo, and the bag keeps the mess away.

Awesome job brother!! Keep it up, you have a great method working for you right now. Ive always been told 1000 rounds for each weapon, but i dont think i need 1000 rounds of 7mm rem mag or 300 win mag. So for those type of calibers i do probably have 500 rounds but i also have the supplies to reload those caliber and others too. Just keep buying when you can but training with your firearms is definitely important. Stay fluid brother!

Off to a good start. Ideally , acquiring a lifetime supply while you can still buy it seems wise. Future availability is uncertain so git it while the gittin is good

@yetisuncle6667 ай бұрын
Dude if this is all your ammo, you are miles away from a stockpile. This is just a range trip. Nowhere near an actual supply of ammo. I'm not trying to be a hard ass, and not intending to be mean. But dude you need much more ammo than this. In a situation like this where you have far too many calibers, you need to pick one main battle rifle caliber and just stockpile the fuck out of it. Pick a rifle and a pistol caliber and load the fuck up on it. Not saying don't collect othercalibers, but you need to focus on you main calibers. Think of the very real likelihood that you. An no longer get ammo ever again. Plan like that. The reality of it is, 10k rounds per gun. Not per caliber but per gun. So if you have 3 ars in 5.56 thatsabaseline of 30k rounds.
@MrBwilly957 ай бұрын
I see this is a clear lack of understanding of what a stockpile is there is no set amount that denotes the stockpile everybody is a different levels on their Journey in limiting oneself to only one or two calibers does limit the capabilities that you would have is that one caliber now has to do everything from fighting to providing food training and everything so I have no intentions of limiting my calibers any further than I already have and if you have a plan that works for you then that is great continue to do so and this is a situation that works for me and my current financial situation thanks for watching
@Thafuface7 ай бұрын
Yeah, I mean he needs a Quonset or hardened bunker to store it and a M1126 Transport to move it around to the range Xd

30k ar15 rounds?? wth are u trying to outfit a militia? at 0.50 a round right now...are u gonna eat ammo in SHTF?
@NxtupTyson37 ай бұрын
The probability that you will survive to fire 100 rounds in a shtf scenario is slim to none, much less 30,000 rounds. For the average man, about 1,000 rounds per caliber is plenty to "stockpile". As long as you put some time in and invest in some practice, those 1,000 rounds will serve you well. A lot of people overestimate their abilities. Physical condition, grid dependability, food and water availability, and geographical location play a much bigger part in preparedness than ammo and guns.
@PlayingWithFireOutdoors7 ай бұрын
@@icarrysig LOL last gun show I was at was 20-25 for .223 & 5.56. I only buy 1 bx of store bout ammo for rounds like this. everything else I roll my own and improve on that. I get match grade ammo for way less.
@user-hb3uy7hr7s4 ай бұрын
When are you going to war? This is a bit over the top. If you must bug out, all that ammo will end up with someone else. I am a gun owner and a 2A strong believer. I own a few hundred calibers, and that is more than enough. I will be more impressed if you educated us in prepping for food and water. When hungry, one cannot eat or drink ammo. Respectfully. We subscribed.
