Smart to have extra mags, ammo, food and medical. I once had a plan for a 1500 mile drive if there was no gas station available. My thought was in a natural disaster and no one came to help in a five day period, I would have a plan to get to an area that was not effected.

Look at picking up the Duramag SS (stainless steel) in 556 and 308, you’ll never look back.

take a look at ACE Case for mag pouches .. they are cross sling style and work well for your AR or AK mags .. also work well if you have extended 9mm mags for anything .. ie .. a PCC ..

Thats something I've been looking at getting into I mean a couple spare springs and followers and stuff for my different magazines cuz the body is the last longer than those springs internal components

I've had gen 2 p mags loaded for over 10 years and the feed lips measure the same as a new from the package one...are you having feed lip issues that bad?

What if you do not filly load mags? So instead of 30 put 25rds (in pmag) or would it/they still V out?

From my experience and everything that I've seen they would still do that, they seem to take a tiny bit longer to Do that if they're not loaded to the full capacity of the magazine. but magazines are designed to keep continuous pressure upwards on the rounds for consistent feeding so it's still going to do the same thing at some point I still love and use my pmags a lot but I don't usually keep them loaded for more than 6 months at a time either will cycle the ammo out by shooting it or swap the magazine between one of the other ones to keep them from having that issue
