1978 Rat year here! Drum line- we had it way worse with hazing in the drum line back in the day. The things we had to endure to be a part of the Auburn Band.

Nope. Majorettes would be a dead giveaway. (at least for now until D.C.I. changes that rule too!) Not to mention all the woodwinds and sousaphones. Many of us marched drum corps back in the day. (1978-83) Several made the trip to Atlanta to march with Spirit. One snare marched Phantom in 1977. Two marched snare with Blue stars and five went to the west coast to march with the Blue Devils in 1982. Not sure if there is a D.C.I. influence in the band now. Fun times in the Auburn Band and in drum corps.

@@DennisJohnsonDrummer Yeah I know they’re not actually I was making a joke about how incredibly talented everyone is. I get to see them perform this year and I’m incredibly excited.
