Good vid. One correction though, my current ebike is a standard 2009 giant trance converted to ebike with the bafang BBSHD (1600W peak) and I weighed about 235 mostly (220 now) using it, maybe a couple of thousand miles, lots of it harsh offroading, and no problem with the stock rear hub and never a had to replace it, though I did wear out the smallest sprocket on the cassette once, though lesson learned, don't accellerate in top gear as you wear out that sprocket, only use it as overdrive once up to speed.

@@madhistory Forgot to mention I ordered my Pro 3 today :) standard hub, I'll be the test dummy. Unfortunately out of the rear racks, but free 13Ah range extender.

I've had bad luck with the fat tires. Look into the different options for preventing flats on those things.

If you use the right stuff you can prevent them . FlatOut Multi-Purpose Tire Sealant - Prevents and Repairs Flat Tires, Seals Leaks, Contains Kevlar,

The lack of 4.8" wide tires was its only shortcoming, now that you can upgrade to them is great .. I dont see where that is an option, where do you see to add them? .. save yourself a bunch of aggravation, use blue loctite on those bolts, because you'll lose them if you dont

Question: When not using the 2nd battery on your eBike, is there a cover to protect the range extender mount on the bike?

Once you order the extra battery does bike frame always have the extra battery terminal exposed?

yes it does , I was worried about the weight but I have decided to run the bike with both because on the trail I could not tell a difference. And the extra battery was a make or break point. Thx Jss
