Was super surprised at the 0-100 KPH time. About right on to BMWs 0-60 MPH time. It has been my understanding that most all of BMW power and acceleration numbers are underrated. Thanks for the review with performance numbers...so hard to see these videos in the 230 trim level!

Was gonna say that a 330i might be a better value given this is $73k already, but seems like they’ve price hiked the 330i to over $95k d/a for 2023. When the G20 series launched in 2019, a 320i was $65k and a 330i was $71k! Basically a nearly identical G20 330i that could easily be negotiated into the high 60s is now a $94k proposition, nearly $100k driveway - well into 5 Series pricing. Crazy.

My mini countryman lease is up late this year. I’m definitely getting this. Fully loaded with features it’s only 50,000 which is a sweet msrp. Hopefully lease prices are good or purchase price.

Hello, The 5.8 sec is the claimed. The actual test achieved 5.49 sec. The previous model 2020 230i, 185kW/350Nm, had a claimed 5.6 sec. The newer 230i, 190kW/400Nm, is bigger and heavier than the previous one. Newer is Tare Mass 1493 kg, older 1398 kg. Length 4537 mm vs 4432 mm. Cheers.

Shame over here in China there’s only 225i and M240i, both RWD. 230i would be more balanced in terms of performance and price tag, as M240i is somewhere around $90k. But they do have the latest iDrive 8 which I was surprised that the Aussie 2023 model doesn’t have

We do have it on the 2023 model. It's bit misleading in the video - they have a 'prefacelift' model with the old iDrive 7. iDrive 8 models have just started to go on sale

Exept is slower 0-100, front wheel drive, more plastic interior and not conform at all in sport mode. Basically, it is another type of car. But it makes good noise.
