That centre console and door running strip illuminated display looks absolutely magnificent!!! It looks far better than any wood veneer, aluminium or carbon fibre display. I've never seen any such display that looks as good as that. Well done BMW.

I would say this is by far the best look 7 series since 1995. Another stunning design was the all new 7series launched in 1978 when BMW really wanted to elevate to a luxury brand.

Here in Germany, I have been driving only the BMW brand since 40 years. I currently have the new M440i Coupe. In the city where I live (Wolfsburg) where the main VW factory is based, and therefore almost only Volkswagen and Audi (and other cars belonging to the Volkswagen group) are around, it is the only BMW M440i around and everyone turns to look at it. It is always a pleasure every time I sit inside and drive. BMW's German slogan is…”BMW…Freude am Fahren“ (BMW…driving pleasure).

No, just no. New 7 series is the weakest 7 series ever. S Class is doing everything better. New 7 series has no inventions - except swarowski bling bling and a stupid 8k Display which is a cheap Samsung display😂 Older eqs beats brand new i7 in every aspect of power and economics. A8 is a 5 year old car..... Now talking about the totaly ugly exterior 😂 First tests said the same: S Class > 7 series. Bmw just failed horrible

This days, I think only Audi is looking good in this german trio. Even Peugeot is far way better with style than BMW and Mercedes. BMW is like brother of Lexus but with down syndrome. Mercedes E or even S looks like CLA. Maybe BMW still had good handling, maybe company improved technology so much, but last cars look ugly (apart g30 LCI).
