BMW fans only want cars to look the same,it’s annoying and boring, personally I do see it resembling a Rolls Royce from far, the headlights also gave me a hint what future Rolls Royce would look like,evidenced from the Spectre coupe. S class as of w223 is the most bland and simple looking compared to it predecessors making it the ugliest looking and the worst one to drive after the w220,w220 was well known for being horrible in build quality,doors and other parts will rust easily as well as melting interior parts make it the most hated generation of S class which I see the w223 would be heading towards, honestly 7 series has a look of a luxury car while the S class doesn’t, that looks like a Karen’s favourite car and desperately needs a bodykit to look good, coming from a w221 and w222 s class owner,two of the S classes that I have are one of the fan favourites aside from the legendary w140

It I’m honest as I do respect and have love for the iconic E38 7 series this design is closer to the E65 bmw the Chris bangle era which is one of my fav with the turn signals above the headlights. Still my very fav is the E32

not just the 7 series are so complex, the designs of the whole G generations are so complex imo, they all have heavy front designs but with the clean rear designs.

23:24 The dead space between the bottom of the tail lights and the top of the bumper line looks off to me. Also, not that wavy/droopy look as it literally looks like the bumper is melting off the car. The top part is giving last-gen Prelude vibes while the middle looks like part of some SUV or minivan tailgate. The diffuser area looks good, though. I’m definitely not in the market for a new one and I wouldn’t even buy a CPO one as I just find it ungainly … but it appeals to some people so they will be happy with it. It just does not have the lithe and focused vibe anymore… another iPhone on wheels with a modern version of Malaise-Era gaudiness. That front end just isn’t it either. Your redesign helped as it gives the car a more purposeful look. They may refresh it to look similar to what you’d like to see but I think it’s going to be the next generation that goes full shark-nose, lithe proportions, and a car that incites lust due to the overall beauty it has (fingers crossed) That was a lot and I don’t want to argue. Just some opinions I have…

Honestly the 760 appeal to me because of GTA 5 Ubermacht Oracle XS like despite being the class it was but the fact remains still quick. But same time you never expect to be Quick at all because of the design itself. I think to me in that game is the most underrated car in that game Just like it’s original version of that car the BMW e65

It would have been an additional piece of very interesting information if and when BMW intends to hire designers again. I'm absolutely aware of the fact that they lost Mr. Schreyer to KIA, but things can't go on as they are at the moment, with BMW delivering one designer bankruptcy declaration after another.

I think Pontiac designed this new 7 series. I can’t even imagine what Bimmer will charge to replace any of those crystal LEDs. Despite all that, I actually kinda really like it minus the goofed up front end

That front end is clearly has a strong inspiration from the Rolls Royce Spectre, which I like that, future Rolls Royce would adapt BMW’s design language especially the headlights of the 7 series

There is no way to make that front look better. The redesign didn't help it at all. Side view is not that bad (although the car is a bit too tall overall), and the rear could look better if the plate was moved to the trunk...

I was not that thrilled about the new 7 series design but yestersday I walked passed some ministry office in Berlin and there was this shiny black 760iL parked next to an equally shiny black Mercedes W223 S580L. And in this 760 trim with lots of chrome and dark windows, the BMW has enormous presence. And even though I am a Mercedes enthusiast I have to admit that the S-class looked like a slightly enlarged E-class taxi in comparasion. Even my girlfriend (who is not into cars) was like "woooow what a car!" when she saw the BMW.

What happened to automotive design. I saw the car in the parking lot yesterday, the size is ridiculous, its huge, too agressive lines in the front and rear end. 7 series should be elegant, timeless, even the sporty versions should be without those fake diffusers and tailpipes, just some tasty accents. No doubt its fantastic to drive, but design wise it looks like they just had to finish it somehow before the deadline, but it will probably be the best selling 7 ever, in China. 😂

This car is nice to look at from a distance but a nightmare from up close when you see all that excess of unnecessary details. It looks like it's made of Lego. So many unnecessary gadgets and features, this is not a car that lasts, and the moment you buy it and see all those fingerprints and dust on the glossy surfaces - this car becomes a nightmare.

The design of the front end, it's lost its identity of a big beemer. You look at classic 7 series, they looked purposeful and unique, the design is so generic, this could almost be a Citroen front end. Those AWFUL massive kidney grills that BMW have now.....🤮 Looks like something off a vacuum cleaner, or a vent off a fan or computer. Just no. Its too "slab sided" and looks too heavy, instead of a classic 7, which looks slick and fast. Back to THAT double kidney, you see the size, then see the air slots, they're tiny in comparison to the actual shape! Make the kidneys fit the air slot size, it would look so much slicker.
