I used to complain about the front end a lot, but the fact that this is a nearly 500hp car with 5 seats, 4 doors, awesome engine, and a manual means I'll probably forget about it if I end up driving one of these.

Yeah the M3 is one of the best cars out there! Took me a bit to warm up to the design. But now I love it!

It's not the front for me. I actually liked it from the beginning. It's the rear end that I still don't like that much.

10 years ago, this would've been perfect! I'm in my 50s now, so the M340i is my choice. I traded my Stinger Gt1 for it and I still get to look cool, while in something more sophisticated. Very good gas mileage too.

Hey, 22 Bmw M3 driver here. Cars amazing to drive. Everything is great about this car,but the things I hate about it is the squeaky ass breaks at low speeds, ugh it’s so annoying. Also, I found the break pedal to be a bit hairy should we say, the slightest touch will immediately engage the breaks. And also the last thing is a me thing, the damn car just wants to go fast and I gotta hold back the impulse to just push down on the throttle

Glad you are enjoying the car!! The brakes could just be the pads. My brother replaced his GTR brakes with different pads and they stopped squeaking at slow speeds! Definitely a fun car though!

How are the regular seats compared to the carbon buckets, bmw is currently having shortages and the carbon buckets aren’t available as of this moment.

They are great! I think I’d have to go carbon seats, but you have to be dedicated to using them in a daily. They are comfortable but the normal seats are fine too.

Can someone explain why when he reaches his cruising speed he puts the car into 6th gear? Non stick shift driver asking

@@johnwilliams6279 you can use any gear you want in a manual. 6th will put the car into the lowest RPM to help save fuel and will be quieter. You could be in 4th going 45 mph, but I prefer to let the engine not be as loud or stressed while cruising. Same as a 6 speed automatic, it’ll be in 6th while cruising, but speed does effect that more.

All great options! Personally I'd buy the M2 in a manual, and the M3 in an Auto with AWD. I like the M2 in a manual since it just seems to be playful. M3 is even more of a power house and with AWD it just is so fast! Can't go wrong with any configuration tho

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I definitely would agree about the M3 but to get an automatic you’d be close to 100k. The M3 manual seems like a great idea but I’ve heard that the automatic is more suited to the powertrain. 😌 I’ve spec’d an M2 and M340i out and they were exactly the same price.

Definitely personal preference. Both are great in their own ways. But I'd prefer the M3. Way better interior and refinements. And these can make an easy 700 WHP with tuning and bolt ons. So just as fast as a modded ZL1. Just depends on what you want, very different cars
