@@groundedgaming I I wouldn’t say generic so much as more retro. Yes, it looked a lot like a modern Aston Martin - but on the other hand from about 1969 with the DBS the Aston Martins were overtly lifting ideas from the mustang - long hood, short deck, two door, coupe. Mustang going back to its roots is fine by me. And if BMW want to copy it - why not?

M comps are by order only with a down payment. That’s why you don’t see many. I had to order my past M’s but got to build my spec tailored to my wants. Ultimate driving machines.

Bought a new 2023 M8 Competition coupe over a month ago. Can’t drive it cause BMW of Beverly Hills has NOT done what needs to be done for us to legally drive it! BMW of Beverly Hills should be investigated for FRAUD! Made the first payment on a car we can’t even legally drive!!

What bothers me a little bit about the M8 Comp is that it has less horsepower than the M5 CS which has 10 extra horsepower. I get that the M5 CS was a limited production model, but for being what I consider the flagship model of the M lineup currently, you'd think the M8 Comp would have at least the most horsepower. This is why I believe BMW should make an M8 CS.

trust me, i own the m8 comp and it's highly under rated from bmw. they make around 700hp stock. almost all of them run mid to high 10's stock.

the thing I love about my M8 is that as an adult I dont' care about the loud obnoxious exhaust but I do love the speed and handling. So I can turn off the loud and still have the fun.,

The front bumper of the M850i is actually angled inwards like you sketched. It's also the same case with the M6 vs 650i M Sport.

To be honest I don't care for the way the rear roofline drops away..I know its a coupe but it doesn't cast an attractive shape ..a slightly longer cabin would have produced a better shape.

The M6 is timeless because it isn’t aggressive like the cars have been these past few years. You’re definitely right that it’ll look the best like 15 years from now for sure.

I miss the days when cars were monocolor interiors, now the interiors have like 3 different colors, like brown/black/gray/silver combined, not a fan at all. Used to you could choose the interior color and the entire dash kit, accents and furniture were the same color, maybe different shades but the same color. Red interiors, Blue interiors, Brown interiors, all those monocolor types are gone, you have to pay an upholstery company to make your car's interior look nice these days.

I don't know if I like it. It looks like a Tiburon, 370Z, and a Mustang had an ugly baby. The cockpit is definitely nice, though. I wish they'd have kept this look for the 2-series instead of going with the giant screen.
