Another "spot-on" review. I owned a 2020 X5 that had 21" wheels and swapped for a 2020 X6 with 22" wheels and I have not looked back. The X6 feels lighter to me and more agile than the X6. I have no issues with the 22" wheels and they are a must (just a little difference with road feel to me). Dead-on with the seating position and the windshield tilt, makes you feel like you are higher. The crystal shifter was a must-have and adds a special touch for sure. My X5 had the Harmon Kardon stereo, however, my X6 has Bowers Wilkins and it's worth it also. Visibility out the back suffers but you get used to it. Thanks again...

Vinnie thanks for such great feedback! Yes the 22" for us were a must on the X6 (looks wimpy without them). The car was overall outstanding and if not for the lack of space in the trunk, it'd be my go to as family car. Thanks for watching :)

Great but in 23 you can’t get the BW sound system in the 40i

@@joem8252 seems like that is an ongoing theme, but I’d definitely upgrade to HK if nothing else.

How many miles have you driven with the 22"? Any off-road driving? I'm guessing that you haven't driven more than 10K yet...or off road or wet/snow. If you drive in perfect dry road and don't mind the cost of frequent replacements...at higher prices and loss of comfort, the 22" does look better to some people.

Love that engine sound!! I’m considering upgrading from a 535i xdrive to the X5 or X6, but need a lot of trunk space for vendor events

Agreed , the sound was fantastic coming out of the 6 cylinder. You will surely get more space in X5 (we also have a review of that on our channel) - but for styling and class in the X6 is a level above. You can't go wrong with either. Thanks for watching :)

22 inch weeks are great, but for 2/3 of the US gets snow and the 20s are amazing year round and no need for winter tires. Also only about $800 to get them powder coated black.

@@thedesertroadi do have the same car, same wheels like you. I still drive it on the winter. I think it is not big problem. 22inch is coolest on the X6.

Size, a bit of 'shape' although they are similar, and engine and powertrain choices. I significantly prefer the X5/X6 platform to their smaller siblings. Thanks for watching !!

I am about buy one. Do you know if there is difference in drive comfort ability with 21 inch wheels or anything over 20 will not be as smooth?

Obviously there will be a ride quality difference the smaller in size wheel you go (as it gives tire more sidewall). Typically I am pretty sensitive to these changes. Having said all that the X6 did a phenomenal job, having the adaptive suspension in the M-Sport smooth all of that out. I was seriously surprised how well the drive was on this around town and freeway. Not overly harsh or noisy in any way. This is again on the 6 cylinder version. If you go m50i, it won't ride as well due to the added weight of the car over the wheels. Good luck and report back!!

Can you clarify what you mean by that!? Are you referring to the headlight?

@@thedesertroad he’s correct. These are LED lights. The Laser lights have the full ‘hexagon/angel eyes’ shape.

There was nothing soccer mom about this beast! Excellent all arounder with the oomph and the class to match. Supremely comfortable and sounds the business (with the M sport pack!). I'm sure you'll have fun! Thanks for watching :)
