The only thing is. When us Californians look at houses at those prices we think oh it’s tempting but the house would actually be more like a million in texas tax bracket. Meaning the jobs out there compete with minimum wage here.

I will buy a house in texas likely next year. I have been searching for a house in Frisco area, I may need your help! I am a homeowner here in Utah, but Texas is shining my eyes. We paid for like 450k for a townhome. I am just waiting for my wife to graduate and we may move to Texas. I am just concerned about the heat and the weather.

I moved in to Allen TX from Oregon 11 years ago. Now I am moving to another state. You have no life in summer because it hits above 100 close to 110 almost everyday. Being stuck indoor for months is unbelievable. I hope you consider your life quality before you move....not really recommended!!

It is interesting to see the perspectives of this home from people in different parts of the country. Im from the mid-west and you get bang for your buck. This home wouldnt sell for that price with only a 2 car garage and the expectation of bedroom size would be bigger especially in the master. Its a beautiful home but the space could have been utilized more. The backyard was a bit underwhelming as well.
