That’s the best feeling! I started my boys young on quads and now at 8 and 10 years old, this is our fun times together and gets them outside for hours.

I changed the battery and got rid of some of the ticking. Its not the valves as you could think, and its getting worse when its warm. Its the injector. I changed to a lithium 2,5ah

I bought my son a KAYO PREDATOR 125 and it's awesome. I paid everything out the door around $2,300. A first bike for my 6 yr old, I couldn't of found a better kids ATV. They have disk brakes front an back, starts every time no problem. The only thing I did was put 2" wheel spacers on it for better stability. My son likes to go a little fast when turning, made me nervous. I'm happy with the purchase. At first I thought (It's Chinese it'll fall apart) but it's actually a pretty well built ATV. and these KAYO Chinese made motorcycles are a dealership bike not a wholesale motorcycle. I will say if you buy any of these Chinese made bikes,the first thing you do is change the engine oil and put the proper high quality oil in it. If it's a automatic trans make sure you put a JASO MA oil.

I looked at these and then the cf moto 110. The cf moto has way more features and everything this can am has that i can see. With the exception of the piggy back shocks but for the price difference one could spec out some Elka shocks and still have $ left over. But it has full disc brakes, front dual a arms, (like the x xc), actual digital display, actual head lights, oil cooler etc. I cant help but wonder why one would spend thousands more for one of these... name recognition is all that comes to mind

Looking at the Cfmoto Electric 110 atv
@rodgarcia65633 ай бұрын
@@danlux4954 I ended up getting the CFMoto 110. Everything is great, suspension, stance, safety etc. There is one glaring problem, it has nothing until it starts to rev up. Can't climb even a mild incline. Makes it only good for flat trailes with little to no inclines.... My kid hates it cause he keeps getting stuck on every little hill
@wildlifelive06Ай бұрын
@rodgarcia6563 look up the Team MSC sprocket kit for the Cfmoto 110. Night and day difference in low end power. 100% worth getting.

You're welcome! You can certainly get a better machine for the amount of money these cost.

Did you ever find a fix for the extended cranking issue? My sons XXC does it, sometimes don’t start and it’s getting annoying.
@BigSendLittleSend Жыл бұрын
I haven't found a fix, usually key cycle then it starts. I agree it's irritating af. We paid a premium for these machines with damn fuel injection. Starting issues shouldn't be a thing.

Same exact chassis as the Polaris Outlaw and Sportsman 110 that they've been making for 8 years now.

Any issues? Got one I've had for a month and started intermittently blowing charge fuse yesterday. Done it 4 times on me. Change it, run about 20 minutes and do it again.
@BigSendLittleSend Жыл бұрын
I have had issues with extended cranking and having to key cycle to get it to start. These machines definitely aren't the build quality I'd expect from a can am. I'm sure you have an exposed power wire shorting out and blowing that fuse. I've already noticed several issues with the harness on my daughter's(unsealed connections, ran all sloppy where it will probably run through)
@J.Co89 Жыл бұрын
@Big Send Little Send you'll hear what I feel is a little prime pump kick on when you key it on. If you let that run a few seconds until it kicks off it will fire right up. Works for me anyways.

Thank you for this review. I went with a Honda TRX 90 for the kids but was considering this model. I agree that all kids quads should really have disk brakes.

You're welcome! I'm wishing I'd of gone that route instead, but oh well, my daughter loves it. And 100% they should, I was shocked to find out that can am cheaped out on brakes for a kids atv.

Have you found any way to get brakes that work? My grandson rips on his, butvthe brakes are just junk. Any ideas?
@BigSendLittleSend Жыл бұрын
I agree they're absolute junk, thinking of trying to swap them to hydraulic brakes.
@augustfreemann2839 Жыл бұрын
As soon as a find a way, it will be hydraulic disc. Found a company that makes a kit for the Polaris Outlaw. I think the Renegade and Outlaw are the same quad.
@BigSendLittleSend Жыл бұрын
@@augustfreemann2839 for as much as these dang things cost, should've had disc brakes from the start.

@BigSendLittleSend Жыл бұрын
I hope it does, but I've already had more issues out of this one than my last 3 Chinese ones combined. And I could've bought 4 Chinese ones for the price of this 1 Can Am. Don't get me wrong I am a can am fan 100%. But this 110 is essentially a cheap quad with cool plastics.

All kids quads are regulated to be 25 max by the cdi I believe. They usually have a ton of other restrictions too.
@1Tan9neR7 Жыл бұрын
@@bullfrogjay4383 hey thanks for the info. Any way you know to get around that cdi issue? How does it know the speed it's going?
@bullfrogjay4383 Жыл бұрын
@@1Tan9neR7 it controls the RPM output of the motor. There are aftermarket CDI boxes you can buy depending on what model quad you have that raises the max RPM output of the motor. But there is a chance that it will also wear out the motor faster if you keep it at max speed too much. CDI boxes also exist to prevent motor burnout. Before messing with the CDI I would suggest getting aftermarket exhaust, better carburator or bigger main jet in carburator, messing with the sprocket sizes and wheel sizes to get more performance out of an ATV. I usually like to keep things stock and just cruise but build quads out of older frames that you can get cheap. That's a lot of work though.
