2023 CanAm Maverick X3 FINALLY GETS TO RIP!!

This is the fist video of our 2023 trip down to the Hatfield & McCoy Trails to break in our new 2023 CanAm Maverick X3 DS Turbo.
We check in at the Depot Lodge in Man,WV and don't waste any time hitting the trails! We make a quick stop for fuel, then hit up Trail 10 to 33, then Trail 13 to go hang out at the waterfall!
The Honda Talon started acting up on us on our first day out, which ends up altering our plans for tomorrow, but we made sure we let the CanAm EAT on this trip out!

Break in times, it’s best to break it in the same way that you are going to drive it for the rest of the time you’re going to own it The way I break in any new vehicle is as hard as I possibly can because that’s how I’m going to ride it or drive it As a motorcycle mechanic, I strongly believe people usually take about six months to hit the break in. Which is usually how long the factory warranty is this is their way of not having to pay for a problem

I try to not beat on it too hard, and just not floor it while the engine is still breaking in. Vary my RPMs and so on. I'm not sure the reasoning behind this, just following recommendations.

@@jackbertram5576 for sure! We always respect the rules and try not to to sway from them, in all reality that’s how great places to ride like this get shut down. We always have our helmets with us in the machine, and even though we have passed DNR with no helmets on (but in the machine), it’s always best to keep them on your noggin! But holy crap, it was high 90s that day! Doesn’t excuse it to be honest, we should still try to be better.

If your wife was on Trail Active it means she was on 4wd. That the only way you trail buttons will work. It won't be long before you trade your talon in for a much more comfortable Can-am X3. 😂

That’s what I thought, but she was adamant she wasn’t 😂😂 I can definitely see myself trading in for an X3, the ride is sooo much better. I love my Talon, but the X3 is just better in every way. I’ll see how it holds up to the abuse we put it through before I trade in though.

Hey bro my name is Brandon and my wife and I just bought my wife her new can-am x-3 ds. We actually pick it up from FlatOut on Tuesday. We just came across your channel a couple of days ago and I wanted to reach out and say hello. I was wondering if you could start doing play by play videos when you’re doing to mods. I am not at all mechanically inclined, but I’ve been pretty successful at doing a lot of things by simply following those type of videos. Also we are located on the Southside of Indy near Greenwood, so maybe we could schedule a Badlands or Imterlake to meet up.

Hey Brandon! That's awesome tell her we said congrats on the new machine! She's going to love it! Yeah we could for sure do some videos like that, not sure what we're going to be adding next, but we'll see. I know what you mean, youtube is always my go to when I need to figure something out quick haha. I've been eyeing the weather, definitely itching to get to the Badlands, I'll post something in the community tab when we figure out when we can squeeze it in! We've actually never been to Interlake, how is it?
