2023 Centurion Fi Series Walkthrough - Freshly Re-designed Wakesurf and Wakeboard Boat

I own and love a 2021 Fi25. Was interested to see what changes have been made. Overall, looks like some nice refreshing. I am, however, disappointed to see two things. The first is still no separate dedicated surf exhaust pipe. The silent stinger plate is not dumping the exhaust deep enough in the water to keep it out of your face. This is very noticeable to me riding. It is also very visible in your video. Look at the exhaust steam blowing right in the rider's face right after you showcase the opti-v hull design. All other manufacturers are using dedicated surf exhaust pipes separate from their trim plate. The second thing I think centurion overlooked is the popup seatback for rear viewing on the port side needs to be one cushion towards the rear of the boat. This allows both that passenger to lounge with their feet up. It also allows the person riding in the shotgun position port side to also ride with their feet up. On a 25' boat, there is no reason not to both have space. My dad and I actually retro modified ours to correct that problem. Our local dealer was supposed to share a picture of that change to Amy Mozzi. He either didn't send it, or she didn't like the idea..... Overall, we love our Fi25! Just a couple of things that seem not insignificant to us and I would like to see changed. As always great video and thank you.

Thanks for your ideas. The exhaust is only an issue if you do not engage the center tab, if it is engaged the exhaust is put into the water. Other companies that have a metal tube that inject it into the water sacrifice surf wave performance as it changes the flow of water. That is sweet that you guys retro modified it to work! As for the popup seat cushion that is a valid idea. Something we will ask Centurion to look at and adjust.

It’s crazy that most companies haven’t updated the gunwale or redesigned it. Most still have the same ole cheesy looking seam with screws.

@BoardCo Correct me if I'm wrong but the Ri Series is the top of the line wake performance in the Centurion lineup? Then how come the Fi seems like it's the better looking boat with what appears to be better screens and technology? Having the camera in the background is a genius idea? Is that offered on the Ri series boats? How does the Fi25's surf and wakeboard waves/wakes compare to the Ri245?

Great questions! The Ri Series is the top of the line wake performance in the Centurion lineup. Many people prefer the body style of the Fi while others prefer that of the Ri.
