It’s a proper looking truck for sure. 22mpg at 70mph is pretty good for a lifted truck.

I bought my wife a ‘22 with the V6. She loves it. 12K on it and she’s averaged 22MPG overall since then. I would have expected better fuel economy from the new 4 cylinder.
@elche1976 Жыл бұрын
This 4 cyl turbo gets more hp and torque. Unfortunately, you don't get better mpg with better power and a heavier vehicle.
@itzed Жыл бұрын
@@elche1976 no it doesn’t, the V6 was rated at 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. This four cylinder only does better in the HO version available in the ZR2.

@@itzed Trail Boss 2.7T make 310HP/391 ft lbs of torque @20lbs of boost. For $399 for the ECU flash your dealership can upgrade to the 310/430 ft lbs @27 lbs of boost just like the ZR2 or ANY of the Canyons...it is more motor in every way than the out going V6
@itzed Жыл бұрын
@@okienightstalker3145 good to hear that. I hope it works out to be a great engine in real life situations. I really mean that, my father worked for GM. It just seems like a lot of weight for that much displacement. I recognize it’s the way the entire industry is going, but nonetheless, I’m happy to have the V6 and getting similar gas mileage.

Kinda impressed considering this is the softroad spec and in SoCal driving conditions. My 2017 Ridgeline black edition does about the same with a V6,1.5 inch lift, larger tires, and VCM disabled. Kinda trail boss is tempting
