Nah trust me, I live in Los Angeles, there's a stop sign or traffic light every block. A N/A 4 cylinder car gets the same MPG as a V8 here.

Do you guys sometimes put these cars in Track mode vs Auto mode when testing the exhaust? I’m just curious because this one sounds incredible to me, but there are two other videos of Scat Packs getting this exact same setup on the channel, and they sound really bad to me. The one in this video sounds aggressive, but not overly. It’s still tight and clean. The other videos make this setup sound really flubby and excessively loud. I can’t believe they’re the same products. What would account for such differences between vehicles like this?

I love my hellcat with the stock exhaust just put it in the sports mode and it’s plenty loud for your satisfaction

Which are better for a deeper sound, long tube or short tube headers ?

Both will sound similar however for best power go with long tube headers. If your engine bay is tight and you think you will have fitment issues then go with short tube headers.

@@nates.2977 Thanks for the reply, space is a bit of an issue....not really looking for too much power, I really want it to sound good, I have a suburban....but I do want it there when I step in the tank...

@shonoff83 what year suburban? The aftermarket has a ton of options for headers and they probably make long tubes that will fit just right for your vehicle. It also depends on your mechanical skill level as well and what you have access to for tools AND your budget. Are you planning on doing a full exhaust front to back? Or just headers?

@shonoff83 Thats a good combo. It will produce a good deep throaty sound. If you can, definitely try to put in a crossover pipe like an h-pipe for best sound and power. For awhile, I actually had super 10s on my 89 k3500 with a built 454 bbc but swapped them out bcuz they were a little too loud lol😅 but with the h-pipe it definitely roared like you wouldn't believe. I would still have the super 10s on if I didn't daily drive it. Hope that helps👍
