An amazing teacher, ye,. but have in mind that these dancers are hand-selected and those who do not manage the curriculum are weeded out. Vaganova is a state school with state support and, for most of these, tuition is free so they have a larger pool to choose their talent from.

@@tatya222002yes exactly, if they don’t have the right length of legs to torso they cannot attend the school no matter how talented they are. Same with weight, they even factor the parents height and weight to ensure the students will be naturally thin and not too tall or too short. If they gain too much they aren’t allowed partnering classes and eventually kicked out. I guess it’s better to pick people who are naturally slim because of the prevalence of eating disorders in ballet

omg absolutely stunning work, it's so awe-inspiring to watch these exams. but no, i have to call out that absolutely GODLY a la second turn at 0:05 like......the suspension too!! honestly a once in a lifetime type of turn and she pulled that during a exam. and omg i love that smile afterword at 0:11. like, these dancers carry such a sense of ease and ~cool~ to their dancing, that you rarely see them express genuine surprise and pride for their own dancing, it all has to just look so easy. but rightfully so for her, she knew that was such a godly turn..... omg sorry just needed to fangirl a bit there. ahh great video!!

as a retired ballet dancer ..all I noticed in the first group was how out of time they were ....and that is the culture of ballet sometimes , you constantly look for fault and can't enjoy the beauty as much as someone who hasn't danced....I envy those people 😢 I must add that when I saw the Bolshoi Ballet Company perform it was breathtakingly perfect and that was 40 years ago and I still remember it

@Balletomane M I know and only the very lucky few will dance beyond the early 20 's in a company.....my point was its sad I missed the beauty because so many years of dancing you are constantly told your faults and it stick s ...I finished my career at 25 yrs old and knew nothing but ballet so I became a teacher and that gave me a worse critical eye ..I just want to enjoy it now ..that's all I was saying ...the girls were beautiful

В ожидании мы будем держать кулачки за неё, чтобы в театре её не стали сильно "обтёсывать" с целью добиться максимальной академичности и чистоты исполнения, а дали расти её индивидуальности. И вот тогда уже мы увидим, кому и до кого далеко)
