Absolutely gorgeous! When compared to the original barre it seems to me that your experience over the past years shows you've grown in terms of your musicality and transitions from one movement to the next. Very entertaining to see the comparison and by no means was it possible to laugh at you, because you did so tremendously. Much appreciation from Holland 🇱🇺👋

Thanks very much! I find as you get older and grow/have more life experience, your dancing becomes a little freer but in a good way. You become less “academic” and more mature/your own person. Thank you very much for your comments. It wasn’t easy 😅

That was very impressive!!! I can imagine it nearly killed you, but you more than kept up. I fully agree with the comments above that there was greater musicality and freedom in this later, more mature version. 😊❤

This was not a bad comparison at all! Honestly, I think you look way stronger and controlled now, and your lines are even prettier. I preferred watching the now version, you make the whole thing look effortless.

That was truly amazing Isabella. So much muscle memory. Tendus with straight legs, core strength, and timing. All expected after such a long time. And frankly, on some of the late timing, I liked your current phrasing better. Big Congratulations. I know very few could accomplish that after ten years. Thank you for the courage to put yourself out there for us to watch - and with such incredible results. What can I say. Impeccable training! Tons of courage!

Still as beautiful and graceful as before. Your feet move through the positions so clean! 4:20 the way your feet glides across the floor is so satisfying, the whole tendu variation looks fun.

This comment is rather late, but B R A V A ! Really Isabella, so impressive … and beautiful to watch. I find watching you now compared to then to be more enjoyable. Something about maturity and phrasing. Your feet are gorgeous … those tendus were mesmerizing! Thank you for putting yourself out there. ❤️

It's cool you're still active in ballet, the body is amazing at returning to something it worked hard at with new abilities. I couldn't help but wonder how to combine the newer stronger and more solid version that seems to allow more extension and articulation with the older more flexible and agile. I bet you could come up with some original and challenging movements for ballet to continue to expand in a relaxing way. I especially liked the brushing at about 5:46.

So incredibly inspiring! Of course your graduation barre is so technical and difficult. But you still completed it with finesse :)
@avesraggiana Жыл бұрын
Wow!! That was remarkable. You attempted a barre of already unsurpassed difficulty, and succeeded with flying colours! Like so many others who have commented, I prefer the Isabella at barre ten years later. Even though you confessed to struggling to get through, from where I am, your dancing has actually acquired a "ballerina quality" that wasn't there before.

I noticed when you do your Por de bras forward That you pulled back off your legs instead of pulling forward and feeling like you’re going to land on your face? We were always taught to pull forward to keep the leg perfectly straight instead of pulling backwards and off of the legs and I’m wondering if that is just a Russian Way of doing the bend forward?

Hi Isabella, important question: The weeks towards to the exam, did you only do a run through the barre ( because it is" just" 10 minutes of barre per class then?) or did you do everything right and left or something similar to the exam barre...? I've been wondering about it! 🤔 Thanks! 👍
@balletwithisabella2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for late reply. The couple of weeks before the exam we would just run one side as it is in the exam. But say several weeks before we would have off days where we did a different barre to " take a break" from it but then we would focus on the centre for example.
