Im a landscaper and my boss and I use these mowers. great mowers honestly does the job perfectly great lines and it works good to mulch of leaves in the fall to a fine dust with the added bagger attachment.

Thanks for another super informative video. I always appreciate how thorough you are. I have actually broken the front washer on my 2018. I like the bolt on idea for outside scalp wheel. I've bent that area on one of mine a few times and had to take it to a welding shop to fix. The reinforcement on the deck looks like a great idea too. I agree with you I'm happy with the cut but anything better will be an added bonus. Hoping that you have a great season.

Great info on the 23’s👍usually I upgrade every 2 yrs…but not this yr due to the high prices. Great video on the new ones, and look forward to your 1000 hr review on the 2019s . I have 500, and going into my 3rd yr on my (2) 52”/61” Z3X’s. Love these mowers, and not going to anything else. Love your leaf setup, and would love to go that route. My Grasshopper 721 D with the 25 cubic ft hopper has worked great over the past 11 yrs. I only use it for Leaf Removal. Good luck this yr on the new equipment👍always nice to have some freshies✌️

That tunnel across the front is to help move air out from under the deck, they increased the size so it must be moving more cfm's. That raises the grass up so you get more even cut. About 1/2 the air comes off the end of the blade as thru the blade tunnel. Look at your cars fan, typically a good third of the blade is exposed outside the shroud. Nice looking machines you have. I drove mine with the stander seat, brain was confused- azz goes one way, brain expected it to go the other. Lol. I only put it on the 61, small intermediate yards I have to crouch down to get under trees and its in the way of the hitch.

Yes, I have been using them as my main mowers this season and so far I think they cut better. I have not noticed any stragglers.

Do you have a video on leveling the deck on these? Mine is off by 1” at the moment. A local dealer said that it’s from the bracket being worn out but I don’t know how an 1/8” can throw it off by 1”🤷‍♂️ And where or how did you get a bagging system?

I don't have a video on deck leveling but follow the operation manual to the T. Make sure you check the tire pressure and measure to the blade tips.

Nice showing. They look awesome. Is there an option to raise the blades? Having the blades below the deck could kick leaves out the front and wouldn't mulch as well for lack of sealed suction that a lower deck/higher blade height provides.. Seems to work best blade level or slightly above.

I was just at my dealer today checking out this new Ferris mower! Comparing it to my 2020 Z3X my dealer told me they fixed all the issues with the older Z3X and made a perfect Z3X. The 2 biggest changes mentioned are the 60" deck which should improve cut quality and get any stragglers since the blades are now overlapping. The second change is the ETC engine or Electric Throttle Control engine. It keeps the RPMs up so the engine shouldn't bog down. This will cut down on your run time by working faster on this engine than the older engines. The muffler they got rid of the CO2 detector and put a heat blocker behind the front engine protector bar. I can't wait to demo one! How are you liking it so far? Great video, and you have a great season!

I believe that red upholstery detail is called piping. Congrats on the new mowers. Was the pricing not up drastically from last year, or you just didn't care? 😂 Nothing like a shiny new mower. Not sure how I like that electronic throttle control 🤔 Yep, looks like the front baffles of both mowers are a little higher that the rear baffles.....

The price was locked in from last year which saved me almost $2000 total, but it was still $3000 more than the 2 2019 models. I don't plan on buying any more mowers until these are completely wore out and not repairable. They are really nice, but they will never be this clean and shiny again. I'm looking forward to seeing how they cut and how well the throttle control works out for the long run.

Hello - just wondering have you tried to put tweels on your new Ferris ZX3 52 inch deck machine ? And do tweels fit are they different size tweels compared with your older 52 inch machine? did they stick out too far from the deck, etc. I wanna purchase a new 2024 ZX3 52 inch deck model but the OEM tires are so narrow. That’s the only thing I don’t like. Thank you

The tweels that work on the 61" and 60" also work great on the 52" turned inside out.

Hey Bud, How do you like rhe 60" deck compared to the 61" after using it all summer? I have a 2019 61" Z3, going to add another before the year end but can get either deck I want as I have both deck options available by me yet. How do you like the electronic throttle? Pricing has definitely changed but not horrible. I paid 8600 in 2019, right around 11k now.

I really like the 60" deck and the electronic throttle. I definitely think the 60" has superior cut quality and the blades are the same as the 61" so I didn't have to purchase extra blades.

Both of them are 37 HP with the 60" deck. The 52" I have is a 2019 with a 33 HP. I definitely recommend the 33 and 37.

Original paint on the 19. The cut quality on the 2023 60" is fantastic! Only the first week of the season, but it does seem to be an improvement.

I got to demo a 52 Z3X the other day. Very impressive and really close to ordering one. 1 issue for me was the platform seemed pretty angled towards the pad and the ride was pretty stiff. I now know there's ways to adjust the platform for a softer ride if you're a lighter operator like me. Have you or could you verify those settings and how much of a difference they made?

Mine are set in the middle setting which is comfortable for me at 180#. I have adjusted it to test the different settings and it is a noticeable difference.
