Her mom used her intuition and critical thinking skills in a situation that was dire which is so important. In a situation like that fear can take over but her mom had a lot of courage.

Ms Agi Gavi, my heart breaks for you for your most horrific journey in your life. Our Creator was with you throughout all the concentration camps that you were sent to. Adonai gave your mother the strength and wisdom to keep your family together. I am grateful that our American soldiers rescued all of the remaining survivors and treated you with the warmth and dignity that you deserved. I thank you for sharing your experiences during the Holocaust and l feel certain that Elie Wiesel’s realization that the world had to know about the horror of man’s inhumanity to man. May our Creator keep you safe and healthy for the remainder of your life’s mission. Shalom

Thank you for sharing your story Agi; it's hard to fathom the horrors that man is capable off, I appreciate your advice, " not to be indifferent to man's cruelty. " Autrocities often begin with words, thank you all very much for educating about the holocaust.

My father was there and he lived on the last Nazi base captured by the Americans when my grandfather was stationed there. He met my mom in Munich where he was going to college and he spoke of visiting the camp and falling to his knees in tears hearing and feeling the pain that was overtaken him and he said he maid an oath to never let it happen again. He said that many Germans said they never saw it coming. I wish Americans would look back on this horrific incident and open up their eyes
