*2023 FIX* PS Remote Play 'A Connection to the server cannot be established'

This is a step-by-step video guide on how to fix the irritating issue of PS Remote Play not letting you sign-in to your PSN account. Working in 2023.
Credit goes to LastOneDR2 on Reddit as he was the one that provided the steps, I am just putting this into a video format!

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that the link you copy from the developer menu doesn't always work in your browser. It could give you 'a connection to the server cannot be established error' agaijn. If this happens, try a couple different browsers. For me, Chrome and Edge wasn't working so I tried Firefox and it worked. If none of your pc browsers are working, send the link you grabbed from the developer menu to your email so then you can access the link via your mobile device. You'd just have to do the log-in process on your phone. Oftentimes I would fail a login once on my phone, but would succeed on a second attempt. You'll still get a blank screen once you've successfully logged in with the link, and in that case, just copy the link for the blank screen and email it back to yourself so then you can access it on your pc. Then just go ahead and do the same thing I showed in the video with the console tab.

@@GabutGamin9 pc browsers definitely a bit shaky. I often find mobile to be the most reliable. If mobile is not working, try turning off your wifi to use your data. I'm not sure if that'll fix things, but it should change the internet settings that you are trying to access psn with, so that may help.

Support told me to use a LAN cord for my PC. (Luckily I had one so I didn't waste any money) Surprisingly that didn't work either. Following this video worked perfectly!

When you loggin, press "remember or mark browser as safe" I didn't do this in the first time and the app says "something went wrong" When i marked the browser as safe, the login goes normally.

Warning, if this doesn't work for as of Nov 2023, you'll have to do this on mobile. Sony updated their website look and broke couple of things. otherwises you'll just get error code saying cannot connect to server

I'm getting uncaught syntax error on the console after I enter. Please help I've been trying to fix this for 4 hours. Edit: I solved the syntax error. Console works. Now the app says something went wrong after I redirect. Edit 2: Getting the link and logging in on my phone from INCOGNITE mode worked.

Hey, thanks for the video. Works like charm. If any of you encounter a warning message in the console which prevents you from pasting the url, simply type in "allow pasting", without the quotes of course, press enter, then it will let you paste the url. Cheers.

hey man, i tried both the firefox and the mobile trick but they just log me straight into the account, skipping the blank page entirely. when i tried to log in again in the remote play app it still gave me the "cant connect to server" error. any idea how to fix this, anyone? my pc runs windows 10 and im trying to connect to a ps5 which is not connected to the same network as my pc.

Hey brother, I can't get any browser to let me log in to their website. I've tried firefox, chrome, edge. I can log in on my ps4 and on my phone but nothing else will let me log in. Actually I downloaded playstation plus (app) and was able to connect through that but that's it. Any suggestions?

hey bro, the workaround here is to email the copied link from the dev menu to yourself. Then, access your email on your phone and open the copied link on your phone. Log into your psn on your phone (may take couple attempts). Once you get the blank screen on your phone, copy the link and email the copied link for the blank screen to yourself. Now you should be able to copy the link to the blank screen from your email on pc and paste that into the code back in the dev menu. Hope that was understandable lol.

Hello fellas, I think the issue is that there was some error in the code. Ensure that the code type is: this.document.location="URL" Ensure that the quotations marks are at the start and end of the url with no spaces. Also, make sure you are copying and pasting the ENTIRE url. I ran into the same thing when trying to login on my laptop I bring to school like 2 or 3 months ago, turned out I wasn't grabbing the entire link. I had to copy the link from my email, but I was very sloppy since I was using a trackpad instead of a mouse.

If the code is perfect and the entire URL is being copied from the browser into the console, I'm honestly not sure what else might be the issue! I wish I could help but I do not have the knowledge :( Also, that's really weird that you can't paste in the dev menu. I've never fiddled with mine except to do this.
