The bigger question is: why doesn't Google ship worldwide and have a deal with established local brands like Samsung to support their phones? I've been waiting a decade to buy a Pixel, it's still more expensive than Samsung's, and I can't get it from any reputable seller in my country. Warranty? Forget about it.

I think it might not be worth the expansion for Google right now. The phones are premium and not yet the favourite option for premium users - at least that's why they aren't selling in my country, lol If they generate enough demand, I'm sure they'll consider expanding to other regions

They could at least sell through their website and ship worldwide and have Samsung's warranty network support them with some kind of agrement. The Pixel could become an aspirational Android device if they play their cards right. But they're giving it all to Samsung.

Arun said he had massive issues with his Pixel 8 & i only had the stuck screen bug once. & it got basically fixed next month. anything else no issues encountered. but agree for every phone there are threads cluttered with issues for every phone if u just search for it & the reviewers wont tell u since theyre using 1 phone long term, so they cant rly share their "thoughts about the issues they had in the meantime"

That's unnecessary, to buy a phone depends on many things. For example your budget, your primary usage (videos, gaming, photography, reading, etc.) or which phone you're already using. If your phone is the Pixel 8 your probably not getting much out of this, but for Pixel 6 users this could be a game changer. And also he is literally saying this phone improves 75% on the things he disliked from the last google phones, so you can very much consider it a good phone.

At 4:03, When Arun Mentioned that he didnt find any bugs on pixel, unlike the last one. was maybe due to having 1 yr old stable Android 14, instead of day1 release of the next Andriod version. I think, now the decision to wait for android version updates on brand new pixel phones at launch is a good decision, atleast for stability and reliability point of view. (which their biggest competitor iPhones are known for)

Tbh it is one of the worst phones I have ever owned ı don't understand the praise it gets. Other then the camera there is nothing good here. Performance is worse then 2-3 year old flagship phones. It is constantly hot even at room temprature inside my room at %60 brighntess the phone feels hot to the touch. Battery life is outragiously bad. It is one of the worst andorid experience ı had buggy and dead slow on some aplications just open the file browser and go get a coffee. Also there is no fast charging ı am sory Google but 14w is not fast charging when my huawei mate 20 pro which came out on 2018 had 45w that is fast charging not this I really don't understand why some people give it such high praise maybe you can enlighten me with your own experience.

Found it Just over 26.5 hours later with Scuba equipment and phone was still on and working when bringing it to surface with 30% battery left. Absolutely, not a Samsung fan but it retained much more details of the wall and it’s not so artificially sharpened. Very easy to spot immediately by someone who is into photography.

The only 3 things stopping me from buying Pixels is their 1. Build quality - got my power button come off even while using it as a secondary device ( Pixel 5 ) 2. Overprocessing - Photos are too much over sharpened which is too bad for people photography but amazing for nature photography 3. Potrait Mode - The best lens is un-usable and doesn’t exist in potrait mode + edge detection is so bad + background blur looks like a filter that you can’t perfectly manually adjust while taking a photo ( Pixel 9 series )

Can anyone relate to this? As a Pixel 7 Pro owner, there are a few things that really frustrate me about the device-specifically, the lack of customization options for small but important features. I don't use the search bar at the bottom of the home screen at all, but I can't simply switch it off. The only way to remove it is by using Nova Launcher, which feels unnecessary. The notification bar tiles are unnecessarily large. I frequently need to switch off my data connection during work, but this requires an extra, unnecessary step because the data toggle is hidden under the "Internet" subcategory. Why isn't there an option to switch to a regular notification bar layout, like the one Samsung and other brands offer, without subcategories? In Google Photos, I'm constantly seeing the message, "Unlock the power of Google Photos by turning on Backup." What if I don't want to back up anything? The message keeps appearing on my screen, and there's no way to turn it off permanently. I switched to the Pixel from the OnePlus series because I expected a clean Android experience with Google phones. However, I've found that some of the forced features and persistent messages that you can't disable are even more frustrating than what you'd encounter with other brands.

Also can't change the default media player in Files. Additional icon pages can only be set up *to the right* of the home screen because the left is reserved for the most worthless headlines app. And then if course there is the whole total lack of SD slot, unrepairability, the *ever-present* and increasingly intrusive spying, ever narrowing aspect ratios, ridiculous gesture navigation that directly conflicts with it's own software (try swiping to browse through pictures without closing the app accidentally or going to the previous page.) Pixel is pretending to be openly customizable but really just feels like a janky iphone.

That "Add Me" feature was made to sound so revolutionary, and I thought it sounded really cool - until I remembered that much much older film-based cameras could do it too. It's called "double exposure". Although to be fair modern phones should be able to do it better because you don't have to get both takes exactly the same in positioning (usually requiring a tripod) to pull it off. But I'm surprised that this wasn't a regular feature of most phones all along to be honest.
