I have the 24 Escape Active 1.5 FWD rated at 32 on the Highway and have achieved 47 MPG and no, it’s not a hybrid!!! I love the adaptive cruise with the speed sign recognition! I AM HAVING FUN with my 1.5-3 cyl. And Its ranked with More Power than Chevy’s 1.5 4 Cyl Equinox

I had a 2017 2.0L Escape. That was suv was fun to drive. You describe this car perfectly. I would of considered a 2024 Escape. But it was my wifes turn to pick the next car.

I got my 2023 escape ST line base model as a surprise. I was just expecting to have to get on a list, but they “had this one that just arrived.” I miss the advance cruise and the lane keeping system. But I love the car. I’m getting 41.1 to 41.8 mpg. I also love the ecvt transmission which is very smoothe. Sitting in the back seat I get a lot of road noise from the rear wheels. Seating is very comfortable. Controls are confusung because there are so many this car will do. The wife does all that while I drive. The 0 to 60mph is 8,1 seconds. I would replace my escape with another newer one if the escape lives for the next few years.
