2023 Ford Escape ST vs Explorer ST: Picking the Perfect Performance SUV

The information provided by the ford salesman is partially incorrect about the interceptors. 2013-2019 came standard with the 3.7L V6, while the 3.5L Twin Turbo (same as the sport model) was optional. The 2020-2023 interceptors come standard with a 3.3L V6 hybrid powertrain, optional are the standalone 3.3L V6 non-hybrid and the 3.0L Twin Turbo V6 (same as the ST model) .

I have an explorer ST, however when I went to Ashville for the STSUV experience, I learned Edge ST is a very capable suv as well.

Sorry but Escape ST is just cosmetic version of Titanium model, nowhere close to Explorer ST
