Did you use sport mode or build boost? Our ranger flies with 93 octane in sport mode.

I did not, if I ever have a chance I would like to test these small turbo 4's with and without premium to see if there's a difference.

@@JB_WhoWork they have variable timing which retards to protect against engine knock on 87 octane, so it will advance to make use of higher octane. Found dyno sheet for mustang with 2.3 ecoboost and it gained 22hp on 93. More importantly for us was increase in mpg.

That 3% power loss for every thousand feet above sea level is true for normally aspirated engines but its half that for turbo charged engines.

Also, run premium in all eco boost engines. You will gain literally like 10-20hp..💪🏼

Very slow, mine had a better time, 7 seconds from 0-60, now I have it tuned and with a couple of accessories, 5.2 seconds from 0-60 and 13.6 1/4 mile.

Slow? Lol slow is my 1996 2.3L 5 speed 4.10 8.8 posi ranger, my 2021 Tremor has 2.5 times the Hp, and weighs more yet will walk most even the Tacoma, realize it’s the same 4cyl basically as what the Mustang gets. My only wish is I wish they had a stick (7 speed) and I wish they came with a front E-Locker. Yes there is wind noise, the ergonomics are plenty for me a 60 yo retired old man. I’ve had rangers my whole life and this by far is the best ranger to date.

Oh, one complaint I’ve seen on many as I see on mine, the tremor emblem is crooked on the bed from one side to the other, I’ve seen so many tremors with the same issue, I gather one must be put on parallel to top of bed and the other level with the ground

Crazy, my 2019 FX4 Lariat has a much better 0-60 time. Under 7 seconds.

I got you beat I am retired and 62.8 yrs old , bought my first Ranger new in 1986 single cab 2.9 , 5 sp , I’m on my 8th Ranger with this latest purchase of a 2023 Tremor and I love it . When they came out in 2019 I swore I would never spend 40 g’s on a truck but here I am .

What I learned from video.. Based upon vehicles door stickers, two different wheel sizes, using CORRECT tire sizes, are interchangeable on any STOCK 2023 Ford Ranger. Basically, they are all same vehicle. (Could be in danger of voiding warranty changing stuff. Don't know.)

The Tremor doesn’t look as good as it’s bigger brother F150-350 Tremors. I’m usually a fan of the black steel bumpers but this needs body color bumpers. I’d probably go for the FX4.
