2022 and up freightliner cascadia have a updated version of the dd15 engine. this engine has some differences to perform an oil change and in this video a showed some of those differences.

Adding a dirty fuel into new primary filter is totally wrong according to fact that engine is equipped with priming pump, which in latter moments is operated very raw. Lubricating only the o-ring on filter covers is not enough. Lubricating the filter base where o-ring seals is necessary. Very unprofessional overall.....

I’ve heard that changing the oil and fuel filters at the same time can cause a spun bearing on the dd15.

You forgot the small ring on the water separator filter! Truck will be getting air into fuel system!

He also didn't turn the filters counterclockwise so they can seat. I actually read the manual and did my oil change Monday. Only issue I had was getting the large fuel filter out as the previous owner placed a fleet pride filter in it and it was stuck. I used the handles of a long pliers and pried it upwards. I saw quite a few people having trouble with it. I also placed the 58 gal drain pan the wrong way and the oil cane rushing out over the edges. The oil was coming out faster than it could drain in the 3 little holes (I will be making them bigger even though I installed an EZ-drain plug) and made a mess. Thank God I had some old thin moving blankets to soak it all up. Anyway, he should read the book.
