Played every day for over 2 years. Haven’t logged in since the EoS announcement. Like you said, the community and balance of casual+competitive is what makes this game great. You were the first channel I started watch for princess connect advice, from guides, to suggestions on what to pull and when to save. Just wanted to say thanks for providing amazing resources for everyone while you were still creating content for princonne, they really helped me a lot. I quit after the recent February CB because work was overwhelming me, but it's a real shame that the game is shutting down, i'm like actually devastated hearing the news cause I still wanted to visit every now and then as a casual player. It's actually crazy seeing how many other gachas also shutdown, it's almost like the gacha game bubble popped a little.

Ah, Exos Heroes… played since day 1, everyday, loved the graphics and art. Putting every character through that kind of”specialty change” was cool. But then, they decided to revamp the WHOLE system upside down (instead of expanding/upgrading) and all the unique passives that you pulled for and invested/whale’d? It went to “artifacts” and there was no use to those SC change outside of cosmetics. It was the biggest “f you” i’ve ever felt in any gacha, went from playing everyday to dropping it after a few weeks after the revamp.

Watching your thoughts about Princess Connect choked me up a bit. I stopped playing it for good a few months ago but it's one of those Gachas I always had a huge fondness for and would recommend to everyone. If JP gets an English translation I'll definitely commit to the game again even though it means starting all over again.

Watching your princess connect videos along the way was a true pleasure. I love how open and collaborative so many people have been with giving the spreadsheets to be as sweaty as you wanted to be as well as including wifus just for the fun of it. I remember in the early days for a few days when so many people nuked their defense stats to help people hit number 1 in Arena. This game really helped me find friends when covid set back my own plans for life. I bittersweetly don't really have time to invest in a new gacha. Thank you for being a driver in this amazing community and sharing in the joy of Princess Connect 💚🧡💜

Princess Connect EN apparently actually has a pretty large playerbase, it's just that nobody was spending. People, especially Westerners, will only pay for power, they won't pay to support, so this is what happens when a game is too F2P friendly. A wise woman once said, support them things you love, else it might not be there tomorrow.

I feel like these gacha games really put things into perspective I feel like eventually any Gacha will eventually shutdown it may take 6 years for to happen to Genshin but could happen, I personally feel like going into Gacha games with more of a mindset of it being a possibility of it eventually shutting down.

I think it's because turn-based rpgs are not a thing anymore. Mobile users right now wanted to explore their games, like genshin and guardian tales.

I can't believe no one ever mentions Seven Knights Global server's EoS by the end of May. I loved playing that game to bits, but Netmarble had to ruin it. The most well-respeced dev in Seven Knights stepped down from head developer and the position was taken over by someone incompetent. The new head developer's decisions for the game were awful. The most infamous, in my opinion, was making a themed skin of an existing character into an overpowered limited time character. The event to get her was a one time event (you couldn't get her through pulling on the gacha), and if you couldn't get her, then she's gone forever.

Man the Priconne discord blew up on the day that EoS was announced, im trying to move to JP but its not easy, recently the english UI fan patch for DMM went down because of a game update and the devs dont know if they are going to be able to make it work again and the best solition i found was to use a clunky VN translator. This whole thing with moving to JP is really stretching my love for the game, i might just drop it at this point.

Exos Heroes' worse part is the major reboot it went through, overhauling the characters, adding new artifact cards etc. Basically giving a big "F U" to gamers who have paid to roll (or rerolled) for those characters prior to the update. I gave up on the game ever since. Princess Connect's problem is CR, which is the final straw that reminds us to never support them ever again.

Long story short, 2 years ago my art was featured on official E7 yt which is one of my greatest honor. And that makes me want to draw even more :3 From that time I actually improved a lot XD --- Anyway, speaking about EoS that happen in a lot of popular games, do you think the release of HSR or any game from huge company will 'delete' some games of the same genre? Because lately I've been hearing about "x game killer", or "once X game release that Y game will shut down soon". That often makes me worry, most of the time I enjoy a character more than the game itself and if that game is no longer available I won't be able to see that fav character of mine. What do you think about that?

Keep making the art!! I buy alot of fanart at conventions and it honestly brings life to my tiny studio. --- Big games dying such as Genshin Impact, Arknights, Guardian Tales, Epic Seven, etc. to name a few would not die unless there player base completely disappears. Going to IRL anime conventions, I see large booths for Mihoyo and Kuro Games which is awesome. I think the best sign of growth is social media and IRL representation. If I ever see the "big" games start to have less IRL success then I get worried. The biggest contributing factor is time and revenue. Sometimes games hitting 5+ years isn't event about revenue but the game being difficult to update requiring an overhaul or revamp. Overall though I would not worry for high revenue unless it dropped to 100k monthly revenue.

@@Borkono I will definitely draw more once I have the time and idea :3 I'm so glad that I could deliver my hobby like this. --- Well about the game, now E7 has a pretty dry content lately. There's only a rerun and usual update. We recently have a decent balance patch though. A long story, four months ago E7 just finished the 4th episode. Usually after the end of episode (or new year) they will have some kind of roadmap, livestream, or similar thing that show what they're working on. Last year there's a special livestream that shows player some interesting stuff like a statistics of what character used the most in adventure, and then there's a special video that mostly a sketch/WIP animations of upcoming character/skins. But this year we don't have that, however they did say that next episode will be delayed and they will focused more on the alternate universe story (but this one only story, no boss battle or strategy. Just read story and receive one time reward) Then a moment later they're announcing I'd say, an offline event. This week is a final I guess, they did a stream about that too. Recently they just released CN server and then we just had a fanart event where the winner will have their design to be used as a playable character (which I'm sure they still need to redraw, animate, voice, etc). And I believe those things are what keeps them so busy that they stall the content with a bunch of reruns. However almost half of the community said that the game is slowly dying because of it. Especially with new turn base game will be released. That's why I feel worried. They're busy with the upcoming stuff yet they keep silent when it comes to giving a hint for what's coming next while the community desperately want more content. Does this mean the game is in danger?

Princess Connect shutting down is unbelievably painful for me, never been so emotional about a game before. I have so many amazing memories because of this game. I will try to hold onto hope that some other kind of EN version is released. I'll have to look into how to get the JP version on my phone at least, so I don't have to say goodbye forever yet. Cygames should have gave princess connect English translation they did it for granblue so it's possible for them but they had to choose crunchy roll

It was a honor to play Princess Connect Re Dive alongside with other knights. Like I said in a previous video, I was hyped that KMR wants Priconne to be published global due to popularity back in 2020. Months later, it happened and I was happy. At first, I didn't know what Crunchyroll does to the games they published. When I tried the game myself, It was a heartwarming, colourful and F2P game I ever had thanks to the characters and stories even an event too. When CR announced a shutdown, it left me with a sadness within my heart and start to realize that I shouldn't trust CR from the beginning since they not just turn almost but mostly every seasonal anime regional-locked, they even make the whole episodes a premium material. Now I know everyone these days are into Blue Archive and so do I but it wasn't same as Priconne. Right now I commented this while 'Connected Memories' BGM from Priconne played. Guess that date will be the last memories that connected with the global players. Farewell, Rei. You'll be remembered as my highest power and my favorite character.

Really excited for Honkai Star Rail, but also really hyped for Wuthering Waves which is probably my most anticipated game. They had their livestream today and really excited for it. I don't like CrunchyRoll either but lets not fool ourselves here, Princess connect global was never going to succeed, it was simple too generous a game. Don't forget, JP never had cheatsheets telling them exactly what is coming, what content is like and the best units to use for everything...combine that with how generous the game was to F2P players and it just didn't force people to spend. I've played global since launch and I had almost every single unit in the game, most of them 5 star or I had the shards to 5 star them without spending a dime and I was sitting on like 80,000 jewels when I quit A game simple can't keep itself alive like that, they need to make money somehow.
