2023 GRAND DESIGN REFLECTION 150 278BH- FULL IN DEPTH WALK THROUGH!

Thank you so much for doing this video. I really appreciate it. I am torn between this and the Jayco 29.5 BHDS. Similar floorplans but I like how this grand design is shorter. I’ve been researching fifth wheels below 35 feet with bunkhouses. I just love the color of the interior of this 278.

I’m very familiar with that plan and have walked through it. I would suggest they are not the same plans at all. The bunks are in the rear but the kitchen and seating layout is much different. The counter space is nearly non existent, you have to walk around a weird peninsula, and move the tv for storage. There is a fraction of the amount of storage in the space too if you start looking at it. Also the lack of campside windows. A big seller for the 278 is the counter and windows and it’s a more open plan.

I commend you for the pov for TV angles and the smaller details that often get over looked. I'm eyeing this coach due to the fact it comes with what I need within my towing capacity for a Titan XD and comes with turning point pin box.

why don't you like slide toppers? Are you flipping these RVs? How have you been able to afford going through so many? Also that guitar in the background music was awesome!

I don’t like them for where we camp. It’s usually windy, and they can flap in the wind. I also don’t want to mess with putting noodles or beach balls under them to prevent sagging when it rains. They seem to be more hassle than they are worth. This will be our 4th camper we have owned. I buy them right and sell them later after upgrades. I typically break even from purchase to sell price. Just gotta be patient and willing to drive for a deal! Same with autos.

@@Midwestcamperguy Awesome, thank you for the feedback and replies. We're looking at purchasing our first RV this year. Good to know on the slide toppers. Also thanks for sharing that advice on the RV purchase, I'm trying to avoid making too many mistakes with our first purchase.

There really should be pull out drawers underneath the dinette seating.

Really thorough, great video. But why on earth are you talking over your own talking? Terrible editing. But all in all - good video. And the fridge is already cold because its connected to the solar. That's why it's a 12v fridge.
