What a joke of a review! Wrong on so many counts🙌🏻The seats are some of the most comfortable I’ve sat in. I drive 728kms a week. No numb bum. Had my Tank 300 for nearly 6 months & love it to bits! Not long completed the 10k service & that cost me a capped $300. I’ve had Suzuki, Subaru, Toyota, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Ford, Haval H6GT & this is definitely my favourite 😍 The car responds when you put your foot down. Cant complain about the fuel consumption at 780kms per tank. 91 ULP or if you want to clean her out every now & then I go a full tank of premium 98. She sits at 10.9/L & I drive town & bush twice a day. The clearance is incredible for road kill or live skippys! The sound system, which this guy didn’t even mention, is great for the price range of the car. The visibility is amazing. There are no more blind spots in this car than any of the above I mentioned previously owning. It’s not sluggish or hard to manoeuvre or handle on the open road at top speed or overtaking. It gets up & goes when you apply your foot. This guy doesn’t know how to drive. It has steering modes. Drive modes. Will get you over just about any surface in or out of 4WD. It’s more than capable. Even with townie Michelin hwy tyres. There are so many modifications & accessories you can trick these funmobiles out with the only thing you need more of is money & time. What more could you want for $52k (or less). It has some toys like sunroof (Ultra version) changeable ambient lighting, split seats or full fold down. Power source in the boot. I absolutely love it. Go test drive it for yourself.

In Tibet, China, the tank 300 is very numerous, and it performs very well at high altitudes and in bad road conditions. It has also passed the test of reliability for many years.

i don't get the reference "if you need to overtake. you have to wait for the engine to rev to the point where maximum power comes in"?? you do realized turbo petrol max torque is available as early as 1500rpm right? it's not the same as the naturally aspirated ones that has their max torque at 4500rpm. it does not make sense at all. you might be referencing your review of the tank from a sports car rather than a heavy suv when overtaking. that is not fair to the tank 300.

This review is the most biased one I have seen. I won tank 300 and none of the problems he is saying exists. Plus, he is talking about the power, I can tell from my experience, it has adequate power and with 162 KW and 2.1 tonnes weight is more than the everest where u get 180 KW with 2.6 tonnes of weight. Do u your maths by yourself. Plus, I get 10-11l/100km in city and 8-9 ton straight highways. This reviewer has no idea and mimicking himself as a scientist is a big disgrace to the scientific community given his poor homework on the car and review.

It would have been real helpful if you took that tape measure and measured the boot because 400L doesnt tell anyone anything useful unless they plan to start an aquarium in there. I liked the comparison of the competitors, you left off one though, the 5 door Jimny which is coming, but still is much smaller than this but may end up just as pricey. Finally I dont expect the fuel consumption to be great on this or any offroad focused vehicle, even the Jimny gets crap fuel economy when compared to other Suzukis. Judging by this review and others ive watched when run in you should be getting around 9-10km/100km in town and 11-13km/100km on the highway, which for something this big and heavy, im not mad at. If that really means that much to you then buy the hybrid but that is just wasting money, unless you want that pulling power, which for a car like this is another level of insanity.
