It's Halloween season so that means the decorations are going up! I love this time of year and so does my family. I always enjoy decorating and seeing the joy on my 6 year old's face when the house gets transformed into a spooky witche's lair. Enjoy the video and happy haunting.

Great Job katie! I went to Roger’s Garden yesterday in orange county. This year the theme is “the witching hour” it was stunning. And your decorations reminded me of theirs. Gotta admit, I like Halloween more than Christmas spooky = fun!

Ahh that’s so awesome! I’ve never been to Roger’s Garden but I’ve always wanted to. I’m mad at myself for never going when we lived in Newport. I think I’ll have to go this year for the witch theme. I’ve seen a couple friends that went videos and it looks epic!

Oh wow! That was such an incredible video, felt like I was watching a movie! You're so amazing :-) I never really did much for Halloween decorating except for a pumpkin and of course candy for the kids and a sign outside our apartment to let people know we were participating but I did go out to the clubs dressed up most of the time. I think Chris was more what I got crazy decorating about I'm a big Christmas Stan LOL also, when it comes to decorating my most prideful moments was my room all decorated in madonna, I have some pictures on my Facebook and inventory photos from that time. But I had magazines on the walls, picture discs, Gold records all my furniture is white so everything showed up, I had open bins of magazines for all my friends to come and look at, it was like a museum in my room it was amazing and just like you, I thought in decorating how would people who are fans of Madonna like to walk around the room and look at things so they would have a good time so I designed with my audience in mind and you did a fantastic job creating that spooky environment, my favorite thing was the tree I never would have thought of making a Halloween tree and that was so perfect! Loved it all!

I don't feel so bad that I couldn't get all of mine done in a day either. I don't really do Halloween much. I generally just put up fall decor ( pumpkins, leaves, berries, etc ) along with the throws, signs, pillows, candles, towels, etc. That way I can keep it the same from Sept 1 until I'm ready to decorate for Christmas.

Same, we ended up buying a second shelf unit for our garage because Halloween and Christmas were competing for room in our outdoor shed. Now we have Christmas on 2 large checking units in the garage and Halloween gets the shed. I’m tapped out now. No more space!
