My fear was go for surf and my first wave and sat on broad ever waiting the right wave to ride and my cousin just told me to follow him and I caught my wave and then sat on the beach for a while and padded out there and caught another wave rode all the beach and I been a surfer ever since and so my kids

The first time i flew alone to visit my sister in Charleston after my divorce i was so scared. After i got up in the air i thought i was fine. Landed no problem right? Got to her house we picked up pizza. I was starving so i went a little too hard all the sudden all that stress and fear came out of the blue and literally bit me in the ass. I upchucked everything i had just eaten and she had to wash my clothes. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have conquered flying alone now and absolutely love it. On to the next adventure 🤣🤣🤣

I know you both raved about it and I really want to buy it. I didn’t see the coffee dessert when I went. It would have been fun to try also. As for the bread, I really think all of the ones I’ve had were really good. I’m just not crazy about the crumpets or their English muffins. My go to foods are usually the flat bread pizza with the prociutto, shrimp tempura, both almond and chocolate croissants, hash browns, fresh organic string beans and the harvest chili and lentil soups. 😊

It’s not silly Katie! I felt the same the first time I had to fly alone. I went from NY to Orlando, FL for a week long conference. When I went I was fine and felt proud of myself when I did it! You’ll do fine ! Safe travels❤!

The sourdough bread is fantastic. Two things pop in mind, when I was young I had to take swimming lessons, in order to pass you had to jump from the high diving board. I did it, but I was scared to death. The next one was riding in a helicopter. I had to do it for my job. The first time I was terrified, my legs were like jello. Honestly, I felt like kissing the ground and was happy I made it. Katie, I know you are nervous, but I think after it’s over your fear will be gone. Safe flight for you and enjoy your trip.

9 I have had to go to the airport and fly alone as a visually impaired person and it can be very scary to keep track of everything when you can't see anything, but having had to do that many many times I know you will be a great success going and flying! Once you get the hang of it, it's actually pretty fun :-) I also hate giving myself shots every day as a diabetic since I've been 14 years old but something that you have to get used to to survive. Big hugs!

Roti/chapati is an Indian bread. It's just with whole wheat flour and water. Curry is actually originally British, too. My husband who died 3 years ago in a semi truck accident was Indian. I would make bread from scratch(my favorite is paratha) and I would be cooking like 4 hours each day really doing it right. I felt like I was cutting tomatoes and onions in my sleep...lol. I guess mine would be having multiple brain surgeries. My first one not though because it was a botched brain surgery and I literally had to start my life all over. But my subsequent brain surgeries to try and fix the damage were WAY easier because I had a doctor I know was going to have my back through everything.

Flying, let alone. I had to go to Oklahoma my friend was having surgery. A very nice lady talked me through it. I fly without even thinking about it now.

I was so excited about the Roti one. But disappointed because it had lemongrass flavor to it. I’ve had this dish in the past and it was really good. It’s spicy and if you don’t mind the flavor of lemongrass you will love it.

I have to try that new hot tea. I wonder if it tastes like Postum (coffee alternative that I used to love) . Great taste test as usual.

Things I do alone that, at first, were scary: Roller-coasters: Never again Taking the subway on my own: I still don't like it, but I do it. Eating out alone: no big deal Going to a movie alone: I like it, but look out for all the exits - just in case Yoga in Times Square on the Summer Solstice alone: FREEING! Going to a Broadway show alone: I prefer to go with someone, but I don't want to miss out just because I'm alone. Can you tell I'm from NYC? Also, I got myself a "wifey", a friend who will take the place of my husband if he doesn't want to join me. Have a safe flight!

A couple of years ago I had an opportunity to go to Chicago, by myself. To go see a show and meet somebody who I always wanted to meet. I finally did it and it was definitely some thing on my bucket list. And I got to do it. That’s some thing that I probably would never of thought I would ever be able to do on my own. I was definitely proud of myself. By the way I love the test taste guys did…I’m definitely staying away from the spicy food, can’t do that. Good luck on your trip. You’re gonna do just fine.

my biggest fear (other then solo flying) is getting a sleep study. I have to have a sleep study (its not a sleep study ¨yet¨) But Iḿ deathly afraid of it, because I hate having masks on my face.I know there are people who do it on a regular bases, but I hate having things covering my face when i sleep because ik you can die that way....and i just hate having ¨sleep¨ masks on my face; or anything on my face. I have to have it in an MRI but once itś done i dont ¨know¨ i have it, but I hate wearing things on my face when i don´t need to. medical masks freak me out and I get all freaked out over the whole thing.

I had a major fear of having an I.V. put in my arm until I was in the emergency room and didn’t have a choice if I wanted to live. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I had expected, so it got me over my fear. I don’t exactly like needles, but I was able to handle it without flinching. At least at this point, I have an ability to put up with being stuck. When I was a kid, I was terrified of going to the doctor for fear of being poked.

Incredicoaster 🎢😂 Took my boys to Disneyland and was super sceeeered to go on that ride, but did, had a full-on anxiety attack at the top, on my side, going 55 mph😳 (I made myself go a second time just to prove to myself I could lol. In both photos I look equally mortified, like I had just run a marathon🤪
