Great idea with the doors. The light that fills both spaces is incredible. Beautiful cohesive decor. I would put new doors on the cupboard because the cupboard interior and frame seem perfectly fine and who needs that constant irritation.

I try to journal daily! I use Notion for planning / project management and journal for personal journaling/diary thoughts! The daily planner was launched on The Homebodies for people who enjoy a simpler to-do list and can still enjoy the paper to pen vibe while being digital! I want branch out to create products for all kinds of planning people rather than just ones I use myself/in my way :)

Cute! Awesome light coming in. A suggestion for your storage cabinet drawers... cut off or even use a sander on the faceframe of it. Or a whole piece of wood cut to the correct size... that way it will be fixed and not bug you forever... thanks for sharing

few things: sony girl here too! yay. been shooting sony since i started my vid biz back when their first mirrorless cams came out. also, maybe you can diy notch out the doors slightly so you don't have to open it allll the way. ugh, i get that though - that'd get to me too but its a really pretty cabinet! couch area = obsessed 😍, finally - would you say 2 people could sit at a 72in long desk?

YES TOTALLY! I had 3 ppl fit before. But comfortably I’d say 2 ppl as long as you don’t add the drawer. So that way there enough leg clearance underneath. And yay Sony!

Could you trim some of the drawer frontage overhang off so that they would slide past the doors when they're not fully open? From the angle in the video it looks like that's the problem, rather than the actual draw itself. If it's painted white underneath you wouldn't even really notice that it no longer sits flush to the edge
