I'm one of those Ford Fusion Hybrid owners. that was extremely pleased with my Fusion. The lease is up on my 2020 Fusion and since Ford discontinued the Fusion, I've ordered a 2023 Accord EXL. I'm excited about the Accord especially with the high MPG. Several of my family members drive Honda vehicles ie Civic, Pilot and CRV and are extremely happy with their vehicles,. Since I drive Ford trucks in my business I want to drive a sedan and not an SUB, on my leisure hours Although I've been a Ford guy all of my life this will be my first Honda.

Almost bought one till I rented it. This car is amazing! Unfortunately the seats killed the deal. It feels like your sitting on a checkbook where your spinal column sits. Damned Honda, this car was almost perfect!

Not a Honda fan, but the hybrid is a good replacement for the 2.0L. Besides the loud car enthusiast saying they are mad/disappointed, it made up such a low percentage of sales so the switch makes perfect sense for everyone else. For the look part, everyone said the same thing for the last gen, saying it looks bad, now they are saying it looks good? They are listening to what sells and I'm pretty sure the Honda accord will continue to sell well. Nice video!

Just drove the 23 touring hybrid. Wasn’t a fan of the pictures I had seen until I saw it in person. Interior blew me away. Very refined and comfortable. Not that it was a deciding factor but the way infotainment screen was about as sharp and bright as I’ve seen in a car. I’ll say the base lx ecteroir is bland but they do a nice job on the aesthetics on higher trims. The drive is outstanding. Very very comfortable and smooth. Liked it enough to buy the touring hybrid and put a deposit on a sport touring for my son.

I’m pretty sure the infotainment screen is the same in all the hybrid models. The 12.3 inch screen is standard in the sport , ex-l and touring hybrids. Touring gets google built in.

@@andrewv7461 i test drove the accord touring last week and aside from the power it provides . I agree it feels like your floating really smooth ride,but unfortunately the markups are crazy in Phoenix.

Good review. One thing I wish the youtube reviewer community did was to report what they observed for fuel economy while testing. Yes, we all can see what it is rated at. Honda hybrids in general, have not delivered on fuel economy promises, especially at freeway speeds (70+). When buying a hybrid, I think we would like to know what we may really see in efficiency. Especially since you seem to be in a colder climate. Thanks for listening.

I just bought the Honda Accord Hybrid sport and love it. I still have my 2011 Honda Accord EX-L. I looked at the 2023 EX also, but I liked the Sport body style a little better.

The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these deficiencies will be resolved. The two most important deficiencies are the lack of All Wheel Drive and the Spare Tire. There is a convoluted workaround to get EM Radio and a heated steering wheel may seem silly if you live in Florida. If you are from the North, it is important.

A Metro Detroit Honda dealer here in Michigan is asking $9-$11k over MSRP sticker price depending on the model.Also on used pre owned vehicles as well. Such a damn shame.....Smh😢

You need to expand your search area. There are dealers that are selling at MSRP or with only a few added dealer packs. I know, I bought the Touring model. If you need to, you can buy a one way plane ticket for a few hundred and pocket the difference.

@@BostonAutoBlog the 10gen 2.0 sport is far more sporty and sexy (body curves n wheels make it look somewhat exotic), much faster, has features this sport doesn't come with (rear air vents and usb, wireless charging), and far more fun to drive. all this one has over the 10gen is a 12.3in info screen. for everything else you have to pay 40k for the touring.

@@cameron6249 The 2.0 isn't "so much faster" its a mid size sedan with a trubo fart knocker 4 cyl.... I guess its "much faster" if your in your 20's and you've never had anything with real speed to it. Also the Trubo charged 4 cyl's from Honda are unreliable and have major issues with oil dilution, if your the type to have a lead foot (and it seems like you do) don't expect that car to live to see 200k miles like you would with older non turbo and V6 Honda's! That's kinda why Honda's trying to slowly phase those Turbo engines complexity out of their lineup, because they have DRASTICALLY damaged the brands reliability reputation. Those Turbo Honda's are about as reliable as a Turbo Chevy Malibu, enjoy racing granny at the red light in your sub 40k FWD 4cyl, cus it wont be long till your Head gaskets blow out on you... Like honestly this isn't much slower then the old 2.0 Sport, and if that SMALL fraction of performance matters to you why the Fk are you shopping for a FWD 4cyl mid-size grocery getter to begin with?.. You wanna talk about performance while every V8 owner is literally laughing at you in your little FWD turbo 4cyl as you desperately try to dart in and out of traffic fast enough to not side swipe Karen in the Rogue? Really out here trying to sell his 2019 2.0 Sport Accord like its a BMW X'D like bruh its a 4 cyl dime a dozen Honda.... It's so cookie cutter basic you've probably accidentally almost gotten in someone else's Accord thinking it was yours out in your local grocery store parking lot, like it's not a Mclaren Cameron.

4:37 the 19" wheels actually introduce worse efficiency over the 17" ones on the EXL. So I wouldn't call them an "upgrade". Sidegrade for aesthetics, sure. but not upgrade

Anyone else notice the Accord Hybrid now has 91 octane recommendation from Honda? Ugh. I've had 7 straight leased high-end Accords, but the new one is too long for my garage. The 91 octane would have been the final kibosh, taking the edge off the hybrid fuel savings.

I've not found one place in the manual where it recommended 91 octane, so not sure but you're not the only person that has brought this up. It's definitely meant for 87 octane.

@@shojus I did correct this in another comment, I believe. I wrote to Car and Driver, who had printed the 91 octane number in an Accord review. Much to my surprise, I got a personal response from Tony Quiroga, C & D editor in chief, saying it had been an error on their part, and it should have shown 87 octane in the article. FYI, I ended up leasing a CRV Sport Touring edition, with essentially the same drivetrain, save for the AWD not available in the Accord. It's a delight to drive, with great torque off the line. I'm confident the Accord Touring is just as quiet, but the extra sound deadening in the CRV Sport Touring Trim (not matched in "lesser" models, but I hear those models are somewhat quieter as well) has made this the most refined Honda I've ever had. The improvement on road noise on coarse pavement may not match a high end Mercedes, but it's pretty darn wonderful.

I didn't even notice this video was 2 months old... 😆 I looked everywhere and I just couldn't find the 91 octane recommendation, so good to know it was corrected by C&D. I will say, Honda has definitely upped their game with the materials they use to deaden sound and prevent ice and snow getting in areas where it shouldn't be for us folks that live in parts of the country that get lots of snow.

The Accord hybrid is not aimed for budget buyers. The lowest cost model is the sports model. Sadly there is no LX version.

Throughout the 2000's (and perhaps even the 90's) the Civic was just about as good of a car or even better than the Accord. The previous 2.0T and this new generation altogether make that extra money spent going for Accord over Civic seem worthwhile.

I didn't like the drive of new accord. I just bought 2 weeks ago brand new. It's drive was not smooth. On a road it start shaking all of sudden. Took it to dealership and they couldn't find anything wrong. I feel my 2013 accord drives much better and solid than this new car.

Waiting for the new Camry to mop the floor with this new Accord. The Camry already has a more fuel efficient hydrid and killer styling. The new Camry will be even nicer, with a more upscale interior from the Crown, and more powerful hybrid(s). And yes maybe keep that NA 2.5L( for long lasting)

Interior is nice update, exterior is boring verses the last two generations less style. My 2015 Honda Accord Sport is much better looking exterior than current. Accords are great cars and mostly trouble free. I am three time owner of Accords. Style is important to me.
