Very excellent footage of everything - nature, bike ride and conditions, along with informative commentary. You essentially brought us there along with you. Well done mate. As for the CB very very impressed. It did phenomenal considering the adverse terrain and incline. Also another very noteworthy thing is you were riding it single handed mostly ✋! That coupled with the jacked up road conditions proves this bike is very worthy and beyond user friendly.

yeah your right i did have issues trying to hold that cheap ebay mount still and that was its first outing and the last. after i got home i ordered the gopro version. tripple the price so will see how it performs. really interesting track that one. i wouldnt ride it on the scooter thats for sure. not worth spending $10k on a scooter to punish it for very little view content...lol apart from thatr all is good and i will battle on...lol all the best!

Really enjoyed this. Maybe you don't need a AUD$20,000 Enduro to detour from the bitumen in Australia. I would be interested in further updates as to it's longevity, (engine and suspension particularly). I also appreciate that you state "riding to the conditions" for a very inexpensive, low powered, road commuter. Thank you for taking the time to document your experiences with this particular bike.

thanks. well the classic 350 is a much better feel good bike to ride but virtually double the price. the big plus on this is its the cheapest honda here and will still go on an adventure ride at a very cheap cost. not sure on fuel consumption as ive been moving it along but i have enjoyed the ride experience on it. that area im in would be a very very small portion of the ride areas here so plenty of places to go bush.

Hello Warro Thanks for the feedback about the Trail 125 seat. Really good production quality here; great work! Very nice scenery; it is definitely about the ride rather than how fast one can get there. Those rough bits look to be a challenge for sure; the CB125F seems to handle it well. How would you compare overall performance of the CB125F to the CT125? Love your work! Thank you and keep it up. Cheers!
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Жыл бұрын
its a dangerous thing for me sub wise when i compare bikes but i have owned 2 ct125's this F would easily outperform a ct in all areas. ride quality /handling/performace etc it will run at 80 or 90 kph and up to 100 kph and very nimble and stable on the road. its a really good cheap package. where its ahead of the ct125 is one the price and the new 125cc motor with oil filter and 5 speed box. it does everything well but one. it doesnt look as good as the CT125...lol the CT is a great looking ride indeed....expressed in one word...FUN the F looks more boring or just another new bike. if they bought out the ct125 with this motor and 5 speed box with a clutch i'd buy another one. this would run a bit quicker stock than when i modded my ct125's with the 13t front sprocket. good to hear you also liked the ride out. pretty rough country to take a near new bike even a cheap one but that last hill climb was a doozey...lol

What a good bike. For the money, what a FANTASTIC bike ! In the UK we do not get the chain enclosure (looks like Brexit is not our only stupid decision). Fit it with a top box & panniers and you would have a go-anywhere practical machine. For the money, this is probably the nearest you can get to the old CZ/MZ 250s the '70s + '80s. The only difference is that your bike is far easier to start, can actually idle, and it is way, way, WAY more fuel efficient. 👍💯
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Жыл бұрын
must admit i enjoyed that run in the scrub and it may surprise some how a little 125cc town commuter would handle a really bad road and steep hill climb thrown in. i think lots of people underestimate small cheap bikes but if one rides to conditions and doesn't try to do anything too silly - big surprises. good price too. fuel injected plus 5 speed box with clutch. easy to toss around and runs well at 50/55 and even hit 60 mph so overall a good day on it for me might even take it out on a camp out trip too...lol all the best!

MZ 250s vs. CB125F is price tags aside apples & oranges. The 250s loved to run, guzzled, bitched and fell apart. East German literature did explicitly NOT recommend them for the daily commute. They offered a 125/150ccm series for that purpose too.

Hi Warro. Another great video. Could you advise me please. I live in Perth and have recently bought a 350 reborn. I love the bike and would like to ride on some of the gravel roads out here but am a little nervous. Are you happy with the classic 350 on the dirt ? Are the standard tyres OK ? And should I put a sump guard on first ? Do you take any emergency warning device in case you get into trouble ? I have loads of questions which won't fit in here. Is there any chance of you doing a video about the subject. A beginners guide kind of thing ? Keep up the great work man. Cheers.

providing its dirt track your riding and not sand as i have no sand areas where i live stock will be fine. these 350's are ultra reliable so you can head off with no issues to think of. not the case if it was a 500 as ive had many and have no faith in those. if anything maybe a sump guard would be handy plus fit a set of used 500 rear shock as they handle the rough stuff better with those. i sometimes take a phone but i did put slime in both tyres on the halcyon grey 350 but apart from that nothing else. just remember the dirt riding is fine providing you dont try and ride it like a duel purpose dirt bike -that would be asking for issues.

@ridewithwarro4983 Thanks for the advice. It will be nothing extreme. Just the occasional dirt road to get me to the next sealed road. No sand, I can assure you. Can't get the CB125 here in the US. But, we are going to get the XR150 starting this year. It's not fuel injected, like the Navi. So, which bike would you prefer for the off road track you just did, the lightness of the CB125, or the low torqued 350 Classic?
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Жыл бұрын
i think id go the cb125 as its almost half the weight. although the 350 rode the bumps much better. saying that though i am running 500 shocks on its rear. seeing i ride by myself and some areas are remote i guess i could take more risks on the 125 as if it fell over i could easily lift it up and ride on. if say the 350 fell over especially on that last hill - id be in a fair bit of trouble there. which one would i prefer outright. the 350 classic is easily the best bike-good looks and feel good moment and your riding a time warp. easily my favourite bike to ride and own. far better than the 500 and much more reliable too.

@@RogerBays yeah walking whilesitting on it.but take into account that was the steepest hill and worse conditions id ever been on. i will get you that clip. plus i went back 3 weeks later on the enfield and it was highly risky ride on it. track was far worse and it weighs 80 kgs more. you can go a lot of places on this cb125f if you resept its only 10 hp and a bit slow on the hills. apart from that its a very good little ride indeed

G'day Warro, that area you have road the little motorbike is quite special with such an Amazing Australia scenic delight, I'm amazed how a road bike is handling the conditions, how did the tyres hold up and did you drop the pressure, Great 👍 video and still shots, I'm going for a long ride tomorrow on the black top to a historic Hotel and lunch with some club members, keep safe mate, Neil 🤠.

thought the tyres were pretty good really and i didnt touch tyre pressure at all. the track was a bit rougher than expected but it all went well. a good ride for you tomorrow too

Good video Warro, some pretty country down there. I'm a CT fan but the price tag stopped me from buying one, this little CB125F seems better value. I live near a creek & had a red bellied black & a couple of brown snakes in my garden a few weeks back. The council regularly puts down 1080 baits in my area too, farmers are losing stock to wild dogs.

the ct125 is a much better classic looking bike than one of these F models . although i had 2 ct125's there biggest problem to me was their lack of power and no clutch. this is why i think this would outdo the ct125 at half the price plus it has a 5 speed box too. much more comfortable ride too. was on it on this ride for a bit over 4 hours in total dont like snakes at the best of times so really try to avoid them. years back you'd go out of your way to do them in but not the case today. all the best

It must feel gutless after an Enfield J series motor. I still fancy a Hunter 350, but the wee Honda is supposed to do more than twice the mpg. Riding for "fun" up here in Scandinavia is getting costly, only option is for a more economical bike. I dont want to become another "ride a bike for 1 month in the summer" owner.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Жыл бұрын
well there is another option for you a suzuki vstrom 250 sx. i have one of those and it would easily beat a 350 j series motor....and do it effortlessly too. top apeed 150 kph -cruise at 120 kph and much cheaper to buy too. my review is in my history

@@ridewithwarro Im still running a 42yr old XL250S. Its happy at 100kph and will do 130kph downhill with wind, and still gets 90mpg. It does have shit 6v headlight though. Someone offered a swap with a Himalayan a few years back, but no real advantage over the old bike, except for the headlight.....and much heavier.

Own the 125f for my son. Its a great bike! Love ist really. 2 liters per 100 km with two persons (82 kg + 50kg) and medium uphill is realistic and proved. Yesterday i rode the Hunter 350 and i cant stop smiling! The sound is overwhelming and velocity is 1,5x better. I warnt both! And …. The Interceptor 650. because of velocity. My wife will killing me. So i have to make a decission.

i really have no lovalty to bikes i just ride them. if their any good they stay if not i cash and try again. if say someone on a budget couldnt afford a new adv bike but wants to go bush-this bike will do just that. if you want to ride it faster -id say not for long...lol first big bump may have one on his a$$ but if ridden to conditions this cheap bit of honda could go near anywhereyou point it. one part of the hill was that steep it lifted the front wheel in first gear and i was laying towards the bars. if you take an adv bike on that its expected to do it and do it very easy. seeing that little cheap a$$$ honda climb that last hill would surprise many plus one feels good it was tackled too. just a stock bike on stock tyres no air pressure adf -just ride on...lol does everything great too. rides well at 80/90 and even 100 kph. very stable/comfortable/ easy to move around. just misses out on the wow factor of a classic 350 reborn but apart from that a good cheap bike which really doesn't deserve where i took it...lol but thats life! all the best!
