2023 Honda CR-V Sport Touring & EX - Redline: First Look

With nearly 350,000 units sold annually, the #HondaCRV is the second best-selling non pickup truck vehicle in America. For 2023, the all-new #CRV is now in its 6th generation and #Honda is going on all on #Hybrid tech with the top Sport and #CRVSportTouring trims coming standard with their latest generation 2-motor hybrid system. The new model is also nearly 3" longer overall and the inside has much improved tech and premium materials. It goes on sale at the end of 2022.

Bravo Sofyan! You presented us with two trim presentation. The mandatory top of the line trim and the base trim that almost no one reviews as all car reviewers are fed the top trims by default by the manufacturer. The base trim usually looks nothing like the top trim when you buy a car but few people end up buying the top trim car so it is good to see what the base buck version looks like.

It looks really good. Maybe it's just me but it reminds me a little of the CX-5 from certain angles, which is not a bad thing. It looks more upscale without being too showy. I'm sure that it will continue to sell in high volumes.

Better looking vehicle, better tech. I do like the new CR-V. I just wish they offered a panoramic sunroof. ALL mainstream competitors, Toyota, Nissan and even Mazda offer it on their vehicles. Still, a nice improvement.

Clean and simple design! The reclining backseat is big bonus too! A question though: is the light at the bottom of the backseat Honda's, or is it Redline's light to make the review more bright?

I definitely like it. I wasn’t a big fan of the previous CR-V proportions, it kinda looked like a minivan. I bet I’ll be seeing a ton of these as soon as they’re released.

I have owned a 3rd gen (2009) and currently a 4th gen (2015). Im liking everything that the new crv is bringing to the table except for the no flat load floor and that the hybrid can only tow 1/2 a ton. The 3rd gen had the true flat load floor and the 4th attempted to be flat but there was no hump unlike the newest gen. It may be minor but moving boxes and other equipment, it becomes a hinderance.

It is definitely edgy and more aggressive. I love the interior and rims especially in the sport touring trim. Imo the head lights remind me of Mazda in the way they are shaped not necessarily how they look. Also easy tune ups 👌.

Anyone know if a full sized spare tire can be placed inside where the temp tire is located and still be able to cover it with the cover? Thank you in advance.
