Hi, like all the tips. By the way, I believe there is a physical way to lock the key fob in the car. There should be a physical key slot under the driver side door (you can see it when you pull the door handle up) that allows you to be lock the car with the embedded key in the key fob so you can just take the little key with you. Great for when you do water sports and don’t want to key fob in your pocket.

For non hybrid models, tips 6 and 7 are different. The gas funnel is found under the load floor, and the filler door emergency release is under a much smaller cover in the left rear cargo wall.

Very nice video. Extremely helpful tips. We must have the latest of the latest software updates for this model CRV. All of our SETTINGS are on the infotainment system NOT the DIC ( Driver Information Center) The speed minder will "assist" my wife and son to SLOW DOWN.

Justin - thank you so much for producing this video. All your ‘tips’ are very helpful. You could do a video on just showing us how to be able to walk up to a locked CRV Hybrid Touring (I live in Canada) and use the ‘kick’ to open for the rear hatch. I find myself struggling a lot to get this feature to work. When the vehicle is unlocked it seems to work just fine though. Go figure.

Hi Justin love the tips and tricks but there is one more thing you can turn on automatic parking brake feature by holding up the parking brake button until it beeps and hold it up again until it beeps again and hold it up one more time until it beeps and when you turn off the car it will automatically engage the parking brake, and you can turn it off the same way.

Most of these 'deep' options not applicable in the UK / EUROPE. Most annoying is the speed warnings from reading the roads signs. Not an option to change them .

Question about the remote start. If its icy winter and i remote start it, will the car know to turn on the heat and windshield defog? Or will the heat have to have been on and running prior to me shutting off the vehicle for the night(and the remote start in the morning would just resume the last settings). Would be nice to not have to plan ahead and remember to have the heat on.

Hello Justin, very great video, I have an issue with my new CRV Hybrid 2023 where when the vehicle comes from a left or right direction and when I signal the left or right indicator, no bell sounds, I asked the dealership if it should work, I have time issue to go to dealerships to check this, is there any setting for this. This particular feature work great in 2024, is this option not available in 2023.

Hi Justin I just leased the 2025 crv exl and noticed every time it rains and the water hits the nose of the car emblem I have an error on the dash bord. It states info can't be read or something of that nature. Does that mean the sensor is to sensitive ? Also I would like listen to KZbin songs how do I do that , I have an apple phone . Thanks Stacey

There is a sensor used in the front of the car for collision mitigation braking and Ford collision warning. My guess is if enough rain hits it, it may cause an error. You could maybe get that looked at by your service department. If you want to listen to a KZbin song, under the source section for your vehicle, select Bluetooth audio. Then play the KZbin song from your phone.

Question: I have a 2019 CRV that slammed on the brakes twice when I came across a construction plate on a hole in the road. The cars safety feature treated it like a wall that needed to be stopped at. I didn't have any driver assist features on at the time. Luckily it was very low speed, but it was jarring and has me worried about it happening at high speeds or even happens again at all. Know anything about it?
