HI, you might want to check the rear part of the winch mount. The tabs that come up from the mount need to be bolted to the the bumper bolts that are right above it. Right now you only have 2 bolts holding it on. Hope this helps!

You obviously did something wrong. You should never have to cut your plastics when installing a winch. Why do you have an installation video that is installed improperly.?

I didn't do anything wrong. That is not a factory winch. There for it was not designed specifically for a Honda. There a few aftermarket things that do not fit correct 100 percent. The winch was and is installed properly it works as it should. Had I not pointed that out how many people would know? That is what you have to do to install a badlands winch. If you get a factory honda winch it will bolt right in. I did not see the point in spending an extra 300 dollars for said winch. That is what I choose to do.

Question I have the same 4 wheeler except mines a 2015. I put a viper 3500 on mine and it’s been a good one. I ordered the accessory harness from the dealer. Those are good 4 wheelers. I have 6000 miles on mine. Burns no oil and runs like the day I bought it new. Keep it serviced and use Honda semi synthetic oil and keep the air filter clean. I agree the stock tires suck. I put a set of big Horns on mine. Have about 5000 miles on them and still have a lot of life left in them. Picked up a one owner 07 rincon a few wks ago. The fellow let it sit outside uncovered. The plastics are turning pink in places. Mechanically it’s runs like a Swiss watch. 256 hrs and 1600 miles. Rides better than my rubicon.

@@backspace4093 yeah I have always loved Hondas they are amazing machines. The begging of your comment said question did you have a question about the accessory harness? I'm hoping I get as long pf life put of mine as well. Only thing I do not like are the plastic they scuff very easy

I put a badlands winch on my 2020 rancher and had to trim some plastic also. And it works fine to this day. Almost installed mine exactly like you did. I also had a 2019 rancher (sold) and got a hole in both rear tires. Not a fan of the factory tires either.
