2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL | Best Budget Value Trim?

In this video I show you the 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL. The Sonata SEL is one step up from the base Sonata SE and offers all the basic features one might want in a new vehicle including proximity entry and heated seats. Recent leaks have given clues that the Sonata may not be around for many more years but Hyundai claims they remain committed to sedans. The Sonata got small changes for the 2023MY with the only change for the SEL being the addition of the 10.25" infotainment system with navigation. Pricing had a fairly large increase given the additional features added. Let me know what you think of the Sonata SEL in the comments below!

The SEL trim with 2.5 is my favorite. I would like to see leather wrapped steering wheel though.

That is one feature I would like to see as well. Given you touch the steering wheel everyday, I much prefer to use leather wrapped steering wheels.

I own 2011 sonata 2.4 mpi i took it brand new! at that time the car runing 500k km right now! am thinking about the 2023

I’ll test the Sel plus and if the engine satisfies me I won’t even test the N line. I know that extra power will win me over and if I’m happy with the sel plus performance. I’ll gladly save a few thousand dollars

The 1.6T is a good engine with great torque. It should be enough for most people but that's what test drives are for.

You didn’t show the spare tire compartment! Nice to know what tools it comes with.

Sorry about that! It should feature the typical scissor jack with handle to raise/lower, lug nut wrench, and the spare tire of course. The SE and N-Line's will have the tire mobility kit with inflator.

It has a space saver spare with a scissors jack. There is space for a full size spare
