the ineos owner i know in melbourne said he gets 650km around town and upto 900 on freeway on his 3l diesel. he said hed like a larger fuel tank like 140L. i guess hes waiting to see if some aftermarket company will start making them.

You have to dig deep. They literally installed only the most bomb proof components through out. Beyond minor issues, this thing will be very reliable.

​@marlonbaird6070 You wont notice much difference with regards to driving. Both being mated to an 8 speed and having low range at low speeds and load they will drive the same. The difference js petrol direct injection is less reliable have issues with the injectors mostly. Diesels have more issues with emissions components. Its really up to which fuel you prefer. If you do a lot of highway towing, go diesel, if you do a lot of small trips go petrol. Diesel emission components are mostly an issue when you only do short drives.

It does look like it really has small tyres and not that much of ground clearence. What is it? 34 Inch and 280mm of Ground Clearance? Anything under and it probably is going to struggle in the hard stuff...

Its going to need lift and tires, 100 percent. But you wont be breaking that front end when you do upgrade. If a Bronco sees dust in the air the front end falls apart.

They're a 90 litre tank and the diesel engine is capable of getting less than 6L/100km. You do the math🤦‍♂️

@@joshthomas2536 do you own an Ineos? If you do you are getting far better feul economy than all the owners I know…… and that is one of their major complaints.. I think you need to go back to school. And learn to read and maths.

You are dreaming if you think you will get 6l per 100. If you start to load it up it will be around 12l. Puts it at 650km per tank. Real world 500 to 550 as you would never run a diesel dry. @@joshthomas2536

For the diesel it’s more like 10ltr/100km for good conditions. Gas is less efficient.

So the INEOS starts at 110K AUD which gets you unproven durability, unproven reliability and unproven build quality. For around the same price you can get a 300-series GXL which has proven everything. The choice is clear for me.

300 Series is completely new with a brand new engine and gearbox. The BMW B57 and ZF 8HP have been together for almost a decade. I think you are looking through those Toyota coloured glasses....

@@Macedonia270 I wouldn't buy this with it being so new but i'd buy it in a heart beat over a cruiser that still doesn't have power windows or cup holders without aftermarket parts. 79's are garbage for anyone other than a farmer. you spend a hundred grand on it then need to spend another 25k instantly just for the suspension and fix the ride. don't even get me started on all the other extra's you need. why anyone pays for a brand new 79 is absolutely beyond me. may as well save 80grand and get one that's 20 years old with 700,000 kms on it cause it will be the same interior. granted the old ones are bloody reliable so it'd be a good buy. brand new though? fuck that.
