David Shih is the Zelig and Casey Neistat of the sailing world. He makes excellent videos and one day we might get to see David actually sail his boat. And a big shout out to Mary. She should win Best Sport of the year for sharing David with all of us.

It's really to be expected, these awards are decided by fan votes, so I imagine it's often more about popularity than the category itself... It's not a perfect science, but the fan participation is kinda what the whole thing is about...

The most under rated ocean life sailing cinema photographers - Agape Sailing. Why La Vag got anything over WeSail is beyond me and why Delos wasn't included is also a wonder. Also up and comers should have been Making our Way sailing and also One Life.

Up and comers were channels with less than 10,000 subscribers, not sure about Making Our Way, but I know One Life has over 40,000 subs currently, totally agree with you on WeSail and the absence of Delos, not a single mention in any category... seemed odd.

Delos chose not to participate in the awards this year. Same as the other channels you mentioned. Channels must submit entries for scoring. If they do not enter, there is nothing we can do. Hope the ones you mentioned will join next year!
