I'm getting my 2023 Summit two-row in a few weeks. Ember Pearl two-tone, which Jeep discontinued, and I absolutely LOVE they did!!

How do you like it? What drivetrain did you get?

@@ktpinnacle I like it a lot. Great ride, and no major issues so far. A few electrical glitches early on, but those appear to have corrected with some software updates and some servicing. It's a 4x4 with air suspension. Quadra-Drive 4x4 with air suspension.

The electric range for the 4xe just doesn't work for my daily commute, and I would have need to spend about 2Gs for an in-home charging station, and I can barely keep my phone charged, lol. I'm totally sold on the PHEV concept rather than fully electric cars. If Jeep can get the 4xe up to 100 miles of range, I'd get that model.

I argue that this Grand Cherokee in Summit/Summit Reserve trim is just as luxury as any BMW, Audi or Acura. This IS a luxury SUV and lets not even mention the Grand Wagoneer...Total Luxury

It’s not. It’s a jeep. It’ll never be a luxury vehicle. A bmw, audi, Mercedes are luxury brands… not jeeps 😂 even nice well equipped jeeps

I agree and I’m coming from a 2019 bmw 5 series lux edition. The Summit from an interior stand point is on pretty much on par. The other trims not so much

The grey interior was dropped for the Overland and Summit trims for 2023.

So much to like about this. I'm a fan of the exterior styling and the interior looks great except for.........all the piano black in the center console. IMO that's way too much. Also, I didn't see any mention of brake hold. So, for those two reasons, I'm out. 🙁

Did the 2023 completely drop projector headlights? I can't see it on any of the trims on Jeep's website. It only shows 'bifunction LED premium reflector' even on the summit reserve. Maybe worth waiting for the 2024 when they add the hurricane twin turbo to the grand cherokee and bring back projectors 🤞

Better off putting bigger rims on a summit trim, like 21s, more than bigger tires. It's a street car. The trailhawk is the off-road version.

@@MrBiggharv the seats are uncomfortable. I had an aviator black label on order and i ended up pulling the order after sitting in the seats again. The build quality in the aviator is decent to good but the seats are impossible to find a comfortable position in. Its a known complaint that a lot of reviewers take issue with. I found the Jeep GCL seats to be MUCH more comfortable. The tech is also better in the jeep

@@MrBiggharv I'm actually waiting on mine to come in. I ordered a GC Summit 2 row. I know there were some electrical issues in the early models but I heard those were fixed. The Aviator is nice, don't get me wrong. There are aspects of the interior I really liked but the uncomfortable seats and the laggy infotainment plus the fact the doors were only unlatched electronically were deal breakers for me. If you are interested in ordering the GCL, miracle auto in eastern PA is offering 3% under dealer invoice

It costs as much as a new bmw x5 or range rover velar. why would someone pay this much for a jeep. It does not feel to fit the luxury suv segment after so many years previously not being that level and now, they just decided one year that it is.
