I wish you would give dimensions on the back of the SUV’s. How wide is that opening, how many inches to the back of second row and first row. Especially on an SUV like this, it’s how comfy is it to sleep in the back while camping

I think the Jeeps that have the advanced adaptive cruise (advance driving assist) are the ones with the steering wheel emblem instead of the basic speedometer circle. This vehicle does not have the advanced driving assist.

bought a wrangler rubicon 4xe and I'm average 30 miles to the gallon with it my fuel costs has drop well over 70 percent in with electric costs totally worth every penny

Two questions if you have a moment. 1) when in hybrid mode, will the battery still charge, does it draw, it will it be relatively neutral? 2) how long to charge on e-save mode when driving? Thanks, great review.

I have base Jeep GC 4xe, it was $61,000, leased and got $14,000 off. I averaged 40 mpg, first tank, and 47mpg, thus far! I have a level 2 charger now, think 1,000 miles is doable on 1 tank, which holds 19 gallons, premium fuel!

This is great to hear, I live in SoCal right and like to do long trips. Within the city of LA this would be great to have. Its been 7 months since this post. How do you feel now about it? I dont think I will get a very new model but go with what I can afford so if 2023 will still be good in another yr or so then that will be fine with me.

Absolutely, just got 1,000 miles on 18 gallons of fuel! Right now, I have 500 miles on slightly more than a quarter of a tank!

Jeep made a mistake not offering any other power train for 2023. I would rather see the hurricane engine then a hybrid. Definitely not worth the price hike especially with inflation

I think they should be offering the Pentastar V6 as well. The 4XE Trailhawk is impressive but a lower cost version with the proven Pentastar would be my choice.

@@byronlarson5534 honestly they should have reserved 4XE for vans and other work vehicles. Talked with a dealer last weekend and the only people buying 4xe are business owners. Most of the vehicles are over the 6 thousand pound weight for the tax break and then they still get the 7500 dollar EV credit

I ordered a '23 GC Trailhawk 4xe on Sep 13th, the first day orders opened. Same options in your test drive here minus the sunroof, baltic gray. They told me to expect delivery no sooner than 5 and a half months if anyone is curious about that. I test drove a 2022 V6 Trailhawk in July and it was great, I almost left with it, but at this price I wanted a V8. I was pretty sad when they announced 2023 Trailhawks were 4xe only but your vids helped me decide to go for it. The one bummer was that the panoramic sunroof was greyed out on the order sheet. For whatever reason they're not allowing that option right now. I loved it in the V6 I test drove and really wanted one even though everyone in my life screamed "Nooooo!" Probably the universe trying to protect me from myself.

I think for someone with a specific use situation where they can utilize the EV-only range 99% of the time then this SUV is awesome. Everyone else youre pretty much better just getting the standard ICE Grand Cherokee and saving the $7-10k that the 4xe costs to upgrade to. Especially now that “expensive” EVs no longer qualify for the $7500 tax credit.

Talked to a number of 4xe owners. They are disappointed. Performance is lacking they claim 0-60mph did not come in under 5.8sec with both modes on. A good 5.7L can come in around 5sec or better. This model is overrated.

Kind of unfair to compare to a 5.7 Hemi. A V8 is amazing. But the lease rates on these are very low with all the tax credits.
