@@WillieWheels Congrats on your new toy. For my special birthday last year, I wanted another yellow '06 ZX-10R, which was my first literbike in '08. I traded it for a car in '11. Fast forward to '21 and I couldn't find one. I saw the new ZX-10R just came out, but I didn't find it as pretty as the previous generation, so I chilled. Months later rumors of the new Hayabusa were out. Later it was announced. I loved it. Waited almost a year for prices to go down. Still bought it in time for my special birthday, and two weeks later, I found a yellow '06 ZX-10R for sale. Couldn't pass it up and bought it! That was last year and I still can't believe it! 😁
@@goldenstaterider6796 Question. My truck broke down so im on my ZX10r and I'm in the city with only a 5 mile drive to work. Is it bad to dive these bikes such a short distance and is it bad to shift gears in a low RPM like shifting around 3-5 RPM. I mean this thing will do over 100mph in first gear but I'm not trying to get a ticket. But am I harming the bike when I baby it? Mine is factory no mods 08 but still very strong and fast. I had it over 190mph and it wasn't in the red still had more throttle to go.

@@ItzProdigy999 No sign of excessive wear. I’m at about 2000 miles and just installed a catless M4 slip on (with servo buddy of course), it runs i little rich. Backfires are loud and flames are huge, as a motor would if it wasn’t burning fuel well. M4 insures that a flash is not required to run the catless pipe, but i plan to flash it in the near future. But to answer your question… I didn’t receive any feedback good or bad from the dealership. I can only assume that running it a little harder during the “break in period” wasn’t the cause of any harm to the bike!

I just bought a '23 Suzuki Hayabusa. I asked the sales person about the break in period. I was told to ride it like I normally would. ....hmmm....Maybe Suzuki is different? But I also watched another channel comparing two engines broken in differently. One had a little more ring gap is all.
@goldenstaterider6796 Жыл бұрын
Maybe suzuki does it differently
@ANSWERTHECALLOFJESUSCHRIST Жыл бұрын
I never broke in my '22 Hayabusa from 0 miles. I rode it normally, except taking it to redline, and by normally I mean using all gears and accelerating it hard like most riders do. I only broke in the brakes and the tires, which needed it badly.

It’s a nice bike! Sadly Kawasaki isn’t improving their bikes as the competition! i wish you a great time with the 10R buddy

have you gotten your ecu flashed yet? Heard the new zx10r are the most restricted they've ever been from factory.

Kawasaki has been making motorcycles for 60 years. They’ve always had the same break-in recommendations. I’ve owned 3 new Kawi’s in my life and broke them all in as if you would break in a new baseball glove. Ride hard or die trying.

Why do you never show the bike when you start it. Do you have to bump start every time. Perhaps it’s like the R1, it never starts first time!

Do you guys recommend the Kawasaki extended warranty for extra 48 months for $600.00 ?

Extra protection Doesn’t hurt

IMO nobody should be doing break in videos. All the information is controversial and most are misleading and wrong. I will not be doing the break in of my 23 Zx10r this way. Good luck

So my question to you is, if Kawasaki has been manufacturing bikes for over 60 yrs, wouldn't you think they'd know what they're talking about, since they designed it, engineered it, manufactured it ? Seems that they'd be the experts on it ? 🤔
