I highly recommend this bike as approachable and very rider friendly. Once you master the mode and setting it up its just as the man said in the video, just switch and go. I absolutely ❤ the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R.

I think 6'1 would be fine. I'm about 6 feet tall, and I'm good on this bike. You'll probably want to try it yourself first as everyone is longer or shorter in different sections of their body, but I think you'll be good.

Interesting vid and very well presented. I have a ZX10R 2023 version and wish to comment in respect of the fuel guage. You mention that the fuel gauge indicates the remaining amount of fuel left in the tank however my understanding is that the fuel gauge indicates the amount of fuel consumed. Therefore in your vid the fuel gauge is indicating that 0.2 litres were consumed (probably on an already practically empty tank). In fact if you had to fill in the tank to the max, you may then delete the number to zero. on riding the bike that number will then start to increase and not decrease as implied by you.
@PeterLoweOne Жыл бұрын
INTERESTING!! Ok... thanks for that! I'll be honest, I didn't look into that, I just made an assumption with that one display. Obviously I was mistaken and I apologize for that. I really appreciate your feedback to clear that up for me.
@jachetcuti Жыл бұрын
@@PeterLoweOne No apologies necessary. In fact the fuel gauge on the ZX10R is the only issue I have with this bike considering the fact that it is super loaded with electronics and settings yet it misses the good old traditional fuel gauge if anything as an added function on screen. It gets worse. The traditional fuel gauge exists on the Ninja 1000 SX (as shown in your 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX review) so why not on the ZX10R 2023? Maybe Kawasaki night release an upgrade which may be downloaded eventually so fingers crossed there.

I still haven’t figured out why they go through lengths to design these cool looking bikes just to use reflectors from a kid’s bicycle. I get that reflectors are mandatory but they’re only required to have a certain square area of size. They should have the same design lines as the rest of the bike. The ones used on the Versys 1000 look so much better.

I’ve been anxiously waiting for this one, the quick shifter, is it a up/down quick shifter or just a up one, also does the bike have a accessory port for a phone charger?
@PeterLoweOne Жыл бұрын
The quick shifter is UP/DOWN. I'll cover that tomorrow as I compare it to the ZX-6R which has the up only quickshifter. I didn't see a 12 volt charger on the dash, but my Z900RS has one under the seat. I'll dig into that a little more tomorrow. Great questions! Thanks for watching!

I am, right now, working on buying a '23 ZX10R. I had a 2018 ZX10R and will be using the new bike exactly the same way. I commute pretty much daily to work and I also go to track days to help improve my riding skills and also just started with some "fun" amateur racing. One thing you do not want to have on the track is ABS. Can you turn off the ABS??? Thanks for the video and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍 Randy
@PeterLoweOne Жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure that ABS is now required by law in many areas and for that reason it may not have a switch to turn it off, but I'm sure you can pull the abs fuse for track use. That would be my guess anyway.

Is this a big upgrade over the z900?
@PeterLoweOne Жыл бұрын
The Z900 makes about 127 hp. This makes over 200 hp. So in that way alone, it's a big upgrade, but if you go down the component list, virtually every component would be considered an upgrade over the Z900. The dash has more functions, the brakes are better, the suspension is better and more adjustable, this bike has an IMU that allows for much more precise safety systems, this bike has tires with more grip, etc. Etc. But even if virtually every component is an upgrade, I'd still choose my Z900RS SE over the ZX-10R. Specs never tell the whole story.

Downforce on bikes is a joke. Little winglets give how many pounds?
@PeterLoweOne8 ай бұрын
I don't think it's a joke, I think it's as effective as making a tweak to suspension settings. It's all about getting that tiny edge to increase lap times. Having said that, for most users of these bikes, it's more marketing than functional. Certainly not something that you're likely to feel in your daily commute.
@PaddleDogC58 ай бұрын
@@PeterLoweOne so how many pounds of down force does it have? Never seen any manufacturer release numbers. Your hand out a car window angled downward creates down force. So if they say 17% what is the total number at what speed? Does it help Jonathan Rae, yes a win by an inch is a win. Nice reviews in any case thanks.
