2023 Kia Seltos SX Turbo - Worth it?

If you want a seltos best bet is to wait until the 24 they're already on the face-lift in Korea wich dramatically upgrades the interior they got rid of the dct tho. The gauge cluster in this is what should be in the forte gt

My Nightfall is a Best Buy. Love it. Great performance and great MPG. I often get 33 MPG on the highway. At 28g, it’s unbeatable it tech and performance. Plenty of rear leg room for adults. One of the best cars you can get at the price point. Tons of practicality.

For Australia, the latest update gets a revised dashboard with two 12 inch digital side-by-side screens, ventilated front seats, a power lift gate, a slight power boost, a pop-up heads-up display plus, best of all, an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission. We already had a heated steering wheel/seats. It all comes at a cost of course and the top model is now not far of $A50,000. The one thing we miss out on that is available in their home market is 360 degree cameras inclusive of instrument panel video display of the rear view when the turn indicators are pressed. The only other improvements I would like to see are better quality materials on the doors and dash and maybe an extra colour or two. This all begs the question of whether/when a hybrid model will be offered.

Nice review. Price is high with the added extras, lighted door entry, rubber mats, splash guards and sun roof. Rear turn signals are incandescent lamps, not LED. I changed mine out to LED, much better. We are very happy with our 23 SX. Looking forward to the 2024 upgrades, face lift, more power (+20 hp), normal automatic transmission (no DCT), possible ventilated seats & heated steering wheel, and power lift gate.

I am thinking of purchasing one this spring but I was concerned about the DCT because some owners have said it's jerky at low speeds and during constant stop and go traffic, it that true? I've never driven a car with DCT before. I would be disappointed if I were to get a 2023 in the spring or summer, only for 2024 to become available a few months later and have better mechanics 😄

You forgot Mazda CX-30 which in Premium trim for less than $1000 more compared to this KIA trim Mazda looks like luxury car with even more tech and options and reliable naturally aspirated engine with even more horsepower

The problem with the Mazda is the same look. Year after year after year. This is different which is nice.

The Canadian SX trim does have the heated steering wheel and ventilated seats.

For that price point definitely need power lift gate.
