2023 Kia Sportage Detailed POV Test Drive - How Does The Base Trim Drive?

I have this car. Quick tip if anyone reading this decides to buy it - If the car comes with Nexen tires, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend upgrading the tires to literally anything else. I did some tire traction comparison research and settled on the Continental TrueContact Tour. All 4 tires costed me a bit over $900 but it was definitely worth it because it feels like I'm driving a whole different car now. I've had the car for 4 months and love it so far.

Picked up this exact car on April 1st same model and color lol i took it on a 4 hr drive it handled great and was pleasantly surprised that i got 33mpg. So far love everything about the vehicle

Front wheel or all wheel drive?

All wheel drive. But i ended up getting rid of mine after a week. It broke down within the first 500 miles

@@davestadt49 ahh I see that. You are right you don’t need a lot of features. The base comes with good amount of features. Sometimes higher trims are just waste of money. Companies make most of their money on higher trims cars btw

The AWD LX models have heated seats. Now it's almost $30,000, but worth it. Roughly what a RAV4 will go for.

Despite it is one of my favourite SUVs and it’s segment with a lot of value for the money with the features it has price with the warranty it has Korea keeps continuing to make some of the best cars

@@skytechm07 The engine is naturally aspirated. That means it doesn’t have a turbo. CVT is the transmission. But this portage does not have CVT

The rogue didn’t feel well put together tbh and the engine in the sportage is better. Overall the sportage felt better and solid at driving. The rogue looks 10 times better though.

@@Iegend17 I must confess I was expectin to hear quite the opposite :) The Sportage visual seems better. However, Kia pass the impression of lower quality. On the other hand, draving the Rogue was a pleasant surprise for me. I am happy to hear your opinion on that thanks!

@@diegovn oh yes kia is doing amazing now. Nissan does great job with design but not engine and for sure the sportage looks good but when it is next to the rogue it doesnt. the rogue has that look where it scrwam "get outta my way" btw I just finished editing the full review of the rogue. the video should be out tmrw at 8am est

Weird I drove both and the EX seemed touch better but it shouldnt since its mainly just cosmetic difference.

They were very similar but there was a tiny bit of difference between both of them. I think It has to do something with the rims I’m not sure if they both have the same exact rim size
