35.3 Nm/26.0 lb ft is specified in KIA's KGIS service procedure as the tightening torque for the oil filter cap, after applying clean engine oil to the O-rings. Nice video.

S45031XL is a direct cross reference for oil filter and local auto shops should carry it!

If you're going to keep this car long term, it was best to change the oil before you hit 1k miles. Reason being, you would remove a lot of the metal shavings from breaking in the new engine. Just a thought for a future vehicle
