In Reference to the music turning off when you turn off the car.. there is a setting for this in the car to keep the music running when the car is turned off. you don't have to put your car in Nutural. mess around with the settings you'll find some interesting things :)

The N-line ultimate in Canada has all the bells and whistles. Leather seats and moon roof. I wish it had the stick ebrake. I love ripping and drifting in an all wheel drive car.

I have a 22 KIA Forte GT with the 7 speed DCT. I have no problems with the DCT. It's smooth and I have no bucking problems at all.

Hey @brinton, I have a kona as well. :) 7:25, there is accessory mode, Try without pressing on the brake pedal: 1 press on the power button, while the car is OFF, will put it in ACC mode. 1 press on the power button, while the car is in ACC mode, will put it in ON mode. 1 press on the power button, while the car is ON, will put it in OFF mode. If You are have stopped and you haven't opened the door yet, turning the car off should leave the radio working until you open the door. So just press once again to put it in to ACC mode. :)

Excellent detailed review with personal positive and negative POV. Like you, I find my 2023 Hyundai a bit over-programmed annoying but by-passed the few negatives. Was always a diehard Honda owner until this...definitely worth the anticipation and purchase.

I'll be looking to get this years model since the new 2024-Gen 2 redesign for the Kona is not my cup of tea. Hyundai pushing the EV version and redesigned it to evoke the EV esthetic, but even the ICE version got the same redesign. Only the front fascia is different between the different powertrains. Too simple and smooth for my taste. Thanks for talking about some of the details other reviewers are skipping over.

Thank you for the neutral-then-park tip for the accessories! I haven't had a great chance to explore everything because it has been -10° every day since I got it, and my garage isn't exactly heated. Also, the AWD is working great in 50/50 on the ice/rutted packed snow.

Good to hear it! Yep neutral then off then park is perfect. I use it daily. Just dont forget the 2 taps after ur done to turn it off lol. Im waiting to see how it do in the snow

you don't need to put it in Nutural. there is a setting for this in the car. setup - vehicle -Cluster- illumination- Audio System on/off

I like your car I have always been a honda owner but I can say that I like this car as shape and I heard Hyundai increased their quality over last 30 years and they offer reasonable priced cars compared to Japanese cars, with more accessories included, I will wait another year to see how these n models are doing on the 1st year and I will take it from there. Your car is beautiful enjoy it as much as you can, this is a very nice video !

Hey, it's me from the forums. Woke up this morning to find the algorithms landed me on your review! It's a shame the Canadian model doesn't have a lever parking brake. A few questions (for now): 1) The Goodyear Eagle Touring is a grand touring tire. How do you like them compared to your Fiesta ST tires, in terms of turn initiation/sidewall hardness and lateral gripping? What did you end up using on the FiST (I have Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4). 2) Keep an eye if those port injectors exist (I don't think they are present on the 1.6T Smartstream T-GDi. 3) I'm coming from a FoST. How much smaller is the trunk and back seat leg room compared to the FoST? 4) Do you plan on dedicated winters? I'm looking at the Nokian Outpost APT for both winter and some summer (limited) off-road. 5) Does the a/c always run when the front defroster is turned on? I don't usually have the a/c on unless I really have to. Here in Metro Van where it rains a lot, I found a way for the front defroster to stay on with the a/c off on my Focus ST.

Just traded my 20 Ultimate for th3 23 N-line. I like the car just a little dissapointed with some of the options I had that I Don't have now like homelink and auto dimming rv mittor auto windshield wippers and reactive cruise control and i really liked the leather seats I had with the net pouches behind them. but I will say the seats are comfortable and sporty looking and well made.

It's been taking me awhile to figure out which features this trim level has, too. The reactive cruise control would have been nice. I almost got a '20 or '21 Ultimate. I ended up with a lower milage '23 N-line, that has been awesome. Just trying to catch up with all the tech, since my previous car was practically from the turn of the century.

There's a setting in the menu to change it so the radio stays on. I just bought my Kona and that's one of the first things I looked for.

We bought a new Kona in October. Its been great in the snow. Its a great little car. We changed all the lights to Lasfit LEDs and swapped the spare tire to the correct size. 145/90/16.

2023 will be the last year for a Kona N. Elantra N idk I heard 2024. But as of now they are not selling anymore until the transmission is resolved. When I got my 2023 they said the 2023 model have been fixed already. All dealers that had a 2023 had to hold and could not sell any 2023 models until they were are updated

@@SpeedyTube83 Here in Europe, there is no recall for the Kona N because of the DCT transmission. I drive a Kona N myself and the DCT transmission shifts very well and has no issues.

Yeah 2 presses iirc if the car is off. This was to prevent the interior lights from coming on after turning the car off. They do it automatically and it's annoying.

I wanted awd and moonroof, both of which the N doesnt have. It DOES have injector, trans, tire and limp mode issues tho! It was actually on a no sale list for awhile as well. Whats the point of a 280crank hp fwd mini CUV?

Just got the Kona N Line myself and I’m loving it! Coming from an 03 Mustang GT, all the tech is awesome. It’s also quicker than that 2v V8. Have you heard of any issues with our N Lines?
