My grandma got me Imperial trading post when I was little kid. I still have that set it is beat up and well played with and well loved. It is still my favorite site. When my son was 5 years old I actually have a video and photos of him playing with it. I showed my grandma n told her the importance of it. She she smiled and said "I'm glad you like it."

hey is there any chance you could re-make the dock (and post video or photos) using reddish brown pieces and replace the black bricks? I feel like the black dock is the weakest point of the build.

Regarding using clips instead of technic pins to connect the building together, I still prefer the technic pins because at some point the clips may get weakened or break, based on my experience, the pins for me considered to be the safest option

The original was the last one on my list to get. This new one totally expands the fortress when you can take them apart and reconfigure it. Almost makes the cost of it worth it.

Lego overtime is for better or worse moving further and further away from big specialized peices their trying to minimize parts they just don't end up using all that much partially to save money but probably also due to criticism from fans pertaining to parts like the "big ugly rock peice".

I'm wondering since you duckbricks have the original Eldorado Fortress, and the Imperial Trading Post, do you intend to get the Rock Island Refuge from 1991 since you already have the right imperial soldiers sailboat from that set that you showed in that video you made showing all the pirate lego ships you have? I mentioned it to you in a comment I left there. Did you ever see it?

we traded ninjago legacy for lego legacy, and as someone who is biased towards ninjago this trade off wasn't worth it. i am glad that it's making other people happy though.
