Agree w/ you on most points, I've had this car for 2 years and I'd def recommend it. Don't really agree w/ you on the engine noise complaint, i think it sounds nice and not really that loud, the navigator is louder. It has almost a v8 growl, which is nice.

Thanks for the great feedback ! That engine growl can be perceived as pro or con and I've heard both over the internet. It's not overly intrusive, and does provide a pleasant hum to what can otherwise be a very silent cruising ride! Thanks for watching :)

You should try it in Excite mode...the dampers noticeably stiffen up and the shift points are extended. Still not a sports car but it does make an honest attempt to sharpen the handling and throttle response.

Yes fully agreed had it in all modes. The difference is slight, but noticeable! I actually preferred driving it in the standard mode over excite, as the character of the car generally did not match what it's trying to do. Overall this car was a pleasant departure from the typical german 'sterile' feel you get in those cars because they are refined to perfection. The aviator is definitely an underdog, and I had a difficult time returning the keys after a week spent with her!!

I did not like the engine OR the transmission pairing after owning mine for 5 months kzbin.info/www/bejne/pV7aiaiDiqxkqac)(check out that review as well). After having much time with this car, it's a lazy throttle response, and an engine that's not very eager to go. The new redesign is out online, and by the looks of it it's a big downgrade from the current model. Let us know what you think of it - and appreciate your kind words. Chris we have tried to go through all the modes. There is some difference between the modes for sure, but overall still think it's too much growl for a Lincoln!

This is the complete opposite - it's great on springs (my preferred option), but if you want to totally eliminate road feel the aviator on air suspension floats down the road. The new one will be out shortly!

Have had my 2022 Aviator Reserve a year now.. Great car. Smoooooth ride. Lots of power. But a little loud when accelerating,.,VERY confortable seats and ride quality. Quiet. Far more so than my buddies Mercedez GLE . This car will out accelerate any large SUV out there. Bad things... ..Sync 3 Infotainment is slow. Very slow . So really take your time and try it out. You may have to wait a almost full minute for it to be ready to accept an address. Takes a long time to boot up and ready to navigate ...Has to be mannually dimmed at night...not so automatic ....sometimes it auto dims OK...something not. A little maddening. Not something you will like when your screen is in your face full bright as you merge into traffic . Had a few rattles when it was new... Lincoln fixed. Had to remove rear side window...and replace verticle plastic window trim.

Agree with your points. It was quiet as long as you weren't on the gas. That raspy diesel like sound was not pleasing to me in any way, and is probably one of the weakest points of the car (hope they get rid of it on the revised one). All in all a great car for the money especially given all the luxury. Mine is already sold and I do miss the 28 speaker system !! Thanks for stopping by!

You might be right, as there are some cheaper bits sprinkled all around the car (especially the inside). The Key Fob looks like a children's toy (cheap chrome plastic for the buttons). But overall, it's a fairly solid buttoned up ride that looks stunning and can haul an army in pretty decent comfort. Definitely not a perfect car and the underdog in the current class of SUV's.

Thank you! Price wise - it's closer to the X5, but utility wise perhaps the 7, although the X7 is a def a much bigger car all around as well. I think the Navigator and X7 are compared much more often! Thanks for stopping by.

Pros and cons to all. X5 is definitely sportier, better engine and works super well with the transmission. Better build quality as well. Aviator definitely the underdog and also has redeeming qualities (and extra room). Looks better (to me) over X5 AND not as common! Thanks for watching :)

I barely had 3000 miles when mine developed an oil leak. The a/c went out, the door lock computer went. They don’t have the bugs worked out yet. However, I really like my 2022 Aviator Grand Touring, Black Label. Especially at the gas station. I can go also three weeks without putting gas in it. I can ride all over town in electric mode. My BMW, I was gassing up once a week at almost $6 a gallon.
